High-Rise Residential Towers + Premium Campo Claro
This project was developed by Grupo Cabaleiros and designed by the architect, Isiat Madrid. The site is located in the up-market and high-densified residential district of Campo Claro, in Caracas, Venezuela. To maximize on the unique location of the site, visual and local climatic conditions (sun and wind) were carefully studied. This was seen as a challenge to integrate and orientate the layout of the complex with its immediate context, and not compromising the privacy of the apartment units. Standard interior design finishes were provided inside the residential units, in contrast with more sophisticated and expensive finishes for the landscape and common areas. The project is currently under construction.
Residences + Los Angeles Caracas, Venezuela. 2012-under construction / 24,000 sq.m / Architect Project Management assistance. Furniture and interior detailing, landscape design, and coordination with other disciplines and client assistance
Residences + Los Angeles Located in Caracas, Venezuela, the project was developed by Grupo Cabaleiros. This unique site is surrounded by nature with amazing city views. The project proved to be challenging from the beginning. Half way through the construction process, the project was re-evaluated. Design changes had to be made, as the developers envisaged a particular image for the building to relate with the property target market they had in mind. The main design intention for the project was to provide standard interior design finishing inside the apartments, in contrast with more sophisticated and expensive finishing and detailing for the landscape and common areas.

Casa de Maria + Music School and Retirement Facility Located in the neighbourhood of Sisipa, in Miranda, the main intention of the project was to adapt and convert an existing steel structure. Two buildings are incorporated and strategically placed to create and frame a public space that can host and accommodate services for the local community. The two buildings respectively accommodate a music school and a retirement facility for nuns, who in turn manage the activities of the buildings.

Los Arkos Mall El Hatillo, Venezuela. 2008 / 50,000 sq.m / Architect Interior detailing design and coordination with other disciplines
Los Arkos mall Located in La Boyera, Miranda, Venezuela, the main concept was to develop a green space, that functions as a background to display art inside the mall. The client wanted to use locally manufactured materials such as bricks, wood and stones as opposed to glass, concrete and steel. The design intention was to use the local materials in the different parts of the mall, and to act as a universal architectural and finishing element between all the interior spaces, interior landscaping, and exhibition areas.
Betania’s Sanctuary Arquitectura para lo étereo Cúa, Miranda-Venezuela. 2006-Thesis. International Honor Mention- Bienal de Quito Tutor: Arch. Jorge Negrette, Arch. Jorge Villota. Simon Bolivar University.
Betania’s Sanctuary Arquitectura para lo étereo ‘To understand our corporeal nature, we need to acknowledge a certain class of non-existence’. - Paul Valéry Located near a town called Cua, Venezuela, the Sanctuary developed since 1976 (when Virgin Marie appeared for the first time). Over time it was built with memories; it has a meaning previous of the form or the image; it is a place that keeps itself in time and space. It developed spontaneously forming axial paths, as a pattern connected with peregrination. The place is characterized by a valley condition, divided by the Tarma river, and a stream that builds the cave that semantically organize the space of the Sanctuary. The objective of the thesis was to recognize the factors that build the place and their impact in the surroundings to re-construct it through an architectural structure. The design response was to organize and recognize the temporal existing space, defining new edges to experience through a new path system; using the retaining walls as tectonic expression, to establish limits and connections with the context, and to re-draw the space created as a cultural response to religion.
