Franklin’s cutting-edge B.S. in Interactive Media Design curriculum builds on the technical skills you’ve already developed and the credits you’ve already earned to enable you to fully support design and development of interactive media projects. With the collaborative creation of interactive media through the application of technology skills, you can gain credibility in the flourishing interactive industry with your ability to design mobile apps and create dynamic web content. The skills you’ll acquire will be showcased in a professional portfolio. You can also transfer 24 hours of technical credit into the major, getting college credit for knowledge you’ve already acquired.
This well-rounded foundation will provide a launch pad for roles of increasing responsibility in advertising agencies, web design firms, and corporations with design departments – all of which are expected to experience continued growth. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, designers with website design and animation experience will be especially needed as demand swells for design projects for interactive media.
