the Hopefuls There is a city where people manifested their hope into something else. This “something else” came to be known as the Hopefuls. I gave up my hope today. And so, another Hopeful stomped along the herd of others. I know it exists, happiness, I have dreams about it. The Hopefuls sleep at night while everyone dreams. But this night, I can’t dream, and so, I walk. Architectural Imagination Design Studio 2019 Co-ordinated by Andrew Levitt

Hands that Filter Agency - being able to adapt the space to make it comfortable, understanding where one is in relation to other spaces , being able to naturally flow through the space without unwanted confrontation, being able to choose from a gradient of spaces to best suit needs. This project studies how spaces can support user agency and comfort, to then support listening and healing. This agency manifests through the adaptability of spaces through the mediums

of: light, air, sound, and warmth.

Listening to the Other, Studio 2020 Co-ordinated by Andrew Levitt Location: McCaul Orde. Park, Toronto, ON.

River Dance River Dance uses the insertion of walls and platforms to manipulate and showcase the dynamism of water through a series of hidden spaces. This experiential performance of water creates temporal spaces as the rivers soft edges eb to form temporal sediment platforms. The harsh and violent hydrodynamics juxtapose the captivated serenity of the platforms. Riparian Zone Design Studio 2018 Co-ordinated by Lola Sheppard and Jane Hutton

Tetris On Keele and Pond, the artists nestle into their blocks, side by side, stacked top and bottom. The big blocks are spectacles that mold the gallery and street. The artists and the gallery are connected on grade by a boulevard, and vertically by each units courtyard and the gallery’s spiralling ramp along the panelled glass facade.
