BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION - ACCOUNTING
SUGGESTED MINORS CAREER COMPETENCIES
Many consider accounting the language and basic tool of business, so it may be the best route to a successful business career. Accounting skills are very much in demand in every type of business–large or small, public or private, for-profit and not-for-profit.
These accounting skills combined with other business administration courses, where students explore other in-depth business topics – such as Ethical Issues in the Workplace and Principles of Marketing – leaves Limestone graduates well-rounded in their fields.

LIFE AFTER GRADUATION
“I double-majored in Accounting and Business Administration, while I was working in an accounting role for several years. Even though I had a lot of work experience related to my accounting major, I truly gained the knowledge that I needed for my current role as Cherokee County Auditor in the auditing class that I took. The class taught me how to look for

In saying this, my advice to any student is to take every class within your major very seriously because you never know when one of those classes will help you with an unexpected outcome of your career choice.”
