Rapid career promotion and progressive accountability in 9 years from Architect to Senior Architect and currently Senior Project Architect-Lead Designer. Involved the design and development of over 20 projects ranging in scale from small duplex villas 1,000 sq.m (10,000 sq.ft) to complex mixed-use projects 200,000 sq.m (2.1 mmsf). Multiple project phase oversight including analysis and methodologies, conceptual and preliminary design, design development, client meetings, consultants’ coordination, construction drawings and permit approvals. Integral member of the design team for a ground-breaking educational campus based on the duality of traditional architecture and modern, high-tech solutions. Created themed outdoor learning spaces, including the “hovering gardens.” Also designed iconic Wind Towers, transforming the skyline while providing passive ventilation. Created an award-nominated 30,000 sq.m (323,000 sq.ft) design of the didactic buildings comprising the Red Sea Institute of Cinematic Arts despite restrictive building codes. Resolved and changed the structure of the campus hovering cafe and coordinated with consultants from University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts and the Royal Film Commission. Primary conceptual designer on over 20 significant projects including mixed-use, large-scale projects, cultural, educational, and booths and installations. Provide interior design for overflow projects on a freelance basis. Lead designer on various project typologies resolving complex zoning and structural issues simultaneously such as the Kawar building in Abdali zone, an open plan with free cantilevered glass structure at building body. Developed skin treatments and double façade details and solutions that articulated and shaped unique geometries.

Each building took on a dynamic architectural expression representing the core of its use and reflected the integrity of the design intent with respect to the client’s budget in commercial retail and offices projects (in Abu Tawileh, Kawar), mixed-use Doha oasis, or the high-end Architekton residential building. Collaborated on the internal design and detailing of Vy Complex, the largest sport facility in the Middle East. Developed comprehensive project life-cycle programs that combine residential, wellness and spa, entertainment, cultural, commercial, retail and recreational. Designed and resolved complex steel, glass and aluminum details in booth installations ranging from 50 sq.m (550 sq.ft) up to 100 sq.m (1,000 sq.ft)

Freelance Interior Designer As a consultant, designed several interior projects including retail, restaurants, a cultural exhibition hall, and a dentist clinic. • At the request of current employer, provide freelance interior design services for their overflow workload. • For numerous clients, conceived integrated design solutions though material and finish selection, equipment specifications and assembly techniques; incorporated business branding, marketing and operations. • Thorough detailing incorporating recycled materials such as old newspapers, coffee mugs and wine bottles as gallery stands, lighting fixtures, etc. to create new and novel visions with a great sense of the aesthetic.
