Pollution
In general the quality of rainwater funoff significantly degrades. This negative effect of urbanization can be observed in hydrologic, chemical, biological or physical changes to our environment, which lead to habitat alterations. The most common contaminants that can be found in urban water runoff include biodegradable organic matter, nutrients, heavy metals, organic microÂŹpollutants, suspended solids and pathogenic microorganisms (Vollertsen et al., 2010)
With an effort to address issues related to storm water management in dense European cities, innovative conceptual project the Water Pattern was developed. Implementing green elements clearly helps to deal with challenges our cities face to, from the changing climate perspective. Promoting green spaces, parks, increasing vegetation cover in different dimensions such as green roofs and walls are all smart innovative solutions that help take off the load on our sewage systems. One of many ways how to design city spaces in accordance to Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDS) is to use permeable surfaces where possible and wide range is available on the market. With emphasis on innovative approach,a solution is proposed as not replacement but addition to permeable surfaces. Idea points towards a pollution problem of street water runoff and are inspired by basic nature pattern, where most of rain water which falls is managed at the same place.

Potential innovative design solution Creating small depressions, storage chambers at the surface of streets. Small enough for water to quickly evaporate witout bothering traffic and plus creating pleasing patterns of higher aesthetics in the urban environment. To avoid infiltrating polluted rainwater from roads, streets, parking directly into the soil To evaporate water helping with urban heat island To slow down water runoff and so decrease load on sewage system With easy cleaning maintanance of such surfaces
Example case: FÌlledvej Nørrebro, Copenhagen ( 4320 m3) Everyday rain event calculation as a 0.2 yearly event with a duration of one hour on the FÌlledvej street. 60 min x 60 sek x 17 l/s ha x 4320 m3 = 27

Exhibition Garden/ The 2012
Four Human Temperaments
One of the most interesting and fun assignments during studies was to make a design of exhibition garden on 600 m2 area. There were no strict limitations because garden was aimed to be made out of scratch. Concept of mine proposal started from idea of a wild garden. But instead of interpreting wilderness of nature I found interesting trying to express inner wilderness of humans, wild fascinating flow of thoughts, moods, feelings or fears. Garden is composed of four different rooms which relate to four basic human types of personalities: Sanguine, Melancholic, Phlegmatic and Choleric. Individual characteristics of these temperaments were mirrored into design of garden rooms to evoke the sense of them. Aim of the garden is meant to make people leave out their worries, troubles and whole chaotic world before entering. A walk through Four Human Temperaments brings them back to their nature and hopefully helps to understand something more of the wild they have inside or the wild side of someone else.

Park Design/ Play and Learn, In team with Adriana Pirušová, 2011
Bratislava, Slovakia
“Park Družby” was built as small neighborhood park with a help of teachers and pupils from adjacent primary school around 1974. Since then the park has not come through any bigger revitalization, so it served as very nice case for design studio in my 2nd year of bachelor. This particular project allowed me to apply previously learned principles of design for various user groups and create a suitable park program based on observed patterns in the park.
Preliminary analysis
In addition to expected restoration of park facilities, furniture or vegetation maintenance, there was a strong need to come up with a creative park program that would fulfill all diverse needs of user groups around. Using existing activities, physical features, their transformation and by adding new ones, we aimed to create a park that invites people to stay, relax and socialize rather than to take a shortcut on way.

„The Station City„ Denmark ? How can Ørbæk be redefined as city by strengthening qualities of different areas and how identity can be improved by using the stream? Urbanism/

A goal of intensive urbanism studio was to study a contemporary city with participation of citizens and TODAY PAST municipality, however far from the walls of big cities. When we talk about station cities, we mean cities of 1000
FUTURE
– 5000 inhabitants, all around Denmark. Cities are constantly restructuring, new decentralized urban environments are arising while life from the urban center is vanishing. We observe a generation gap of young people moving to big cities for education and work meanwhile service cities are destination of seniors and families preferring rural setting. The challenge of “The Station City Project” was formulated as a question, which was responded in process with a design solution and strategy. These towns need a new story to be told, overcoming the syndrome of big cities and creating a vision of new friendly residential form of living surrounded by landscape with many hidden potentials.
Phase 1 stream development
Phase 2 development of residential areas
Phase 3 change from stream being edge of the town, to integration main road + residential areas + stream Three areas of interventions

Strategic Management Planning/ Nature park Amager, Copenhagen, Denmark In team with Mia Nordow, Maria Skytt Burr, Josep Mila Puigdomenech and Joost van Haaster, 2014 Nature Park Amager case is one example of project that does not focus of specific design, rather on strategic planning and management of urban green spaces by formulation of management and development plan for this selected area. In the cases, when development of area goes beyond single one architect or studio, I see big importance in making effort to create first strong development plan which aid efficient and effective management, sets framework for decisions and standards, or potentially attract additional use, funding or else. Nature Park spans 3000 ha in the middle of the metropolitan Copenhagen area. Park contains important nature bird reservations protected by EU legislation, although major part of the land was artificially created in 1939 for military purposes. Some of the main challenges we responded to were fragmentation on several levels, user conflicts, skeptic opinion about the park among many Copenhageners, landownership among 5 different stakeholers.

Planting Compositions/
LABAK /Kitsee/ Austria/2013
Composition of flower bed for garden of family house in Kitsee, Austria. LABAK is a young landscape architectural studio, where I helped out after finishing my bachelor studies mostly with creating site specific planting compositions. Particularly this flower bed for garden in Kitsee covers almost whole area in front of the house. Plants are combined in a way that they will in time intermingle and blend, and so create eye catching effect. There is put focus on low maintanance and high performance, where wild extensive effect will be highly appreciated.

Planting Compositions/
LABAK Bernolรกkovo /Slovakia /2013 For another garden, there was a need to create the right plant combinations, which would mirror surrounding flora of municipality Bernolรกkovo. Composition stands on strong base of common grasses, that will blend all layers together, create continuous cover and achieve soft green effect. All plants suppose to find use in the household, coming out of old traditions. To achieve this composition, it was necessary to completely understand native species in the area and how do they tolerate each other.

Data processing/ Thomas Zuna-Kratky Vienna/ Austria ecology of riverine landscape/2013
During my study year in Vienna I worked with a landscape ecologist Thomas Zuna-Kratky, whose projects inspired me to look more into different ecology aspects and relation of landscape. My work consisted mainly of data processing tasks in GIS for different purposes. LIFE-project “Untere March was aimed to investigate importance of Morava-Dyje-floodplain for migrating water birds during spring flood waves in whole alluvium of czech, slovak and austrian area. At the end of the period more than 130 different bird species were observed and numerous map materials produced to demonstrate bird distribution and species richness of many characteristic groups all aver studied area. All materials will serve for deeper analysis and research.

Place that served for previous generation as important social and culture hub, is now being left without a sign of life, just empty. Concept workshop was ment to draw attention on place potential and suggest new ideas how this area could be revitalized, with focus on its rich past and beautiful location. Concept of Skeleton park is based on using the existing potential: reconstructing existing buildings, bringing back variety of activities, encourage life in public spaces.

Design Workshop/ LIDO
FOR PEOPLE
Piestany /Slovakia / 1st place
LIDO is an island in the river Váh that runs through city Piešťany. The whole area is characterized as a nature of high ecological importance, occasionally flooded, without access to sanitary facilities or fresh water. Area is planned to be developed for recreational purposes, but with very sensitive approach. Our design suggestion has the harmony of nature at the first place, so interventions try to be as minimal as possible to bring attractive activities for visitors. One main element, an adventurous walkway is presented to unify different rooms and tell story about symbolic meaning of river Váh, which from latin translation means „wandering„.
