Our Ships

Our Ships The Ideal Base for Immersive Exploration

The nimble ships in the Lindblad ExpeditionsNational Geographic fleet are designed to provide up-close experiences in the planet’s wildest and most remote places. In Alaska, that means taking you to the face of towering glaciers, gliding into a secluded bay to observe a pod of whales, or landing on remote beaches to hike through old-growth forest. Our ships in Alaska have the additional advantage of being U.S.-flagged, eliminating customs stops and allowing more time to explore.

Each vessel is stocked with a fleet of Zodiacs that allow us to sail without being dependent on ports or piers, while our kayaks and paddleboards let you paddle into inlets for a closer look at sea lions or to safely observe a bear feeding in a quiet cove. When we’re not out exploring, open decks and large windows keep travelers connected to extraordinary views of sapphire seas and the marine life that frequents these rich waters.

We also ensure that your time onboard is equally rewarding as your time on shore. Our team of experts—such as naturalists, cultural experts, and certified photo instructors—will be on hand, giving compelling lectures and engaging in lively conversations with our guests. Beautifully appointed cabins and common areas reflect the artistic traditions of the regions we explore, while our sustainable seafood and regional produce program gives you a taste of Alaska’s wild bounty, from freshly caught salmon and Dungeness crab to just-picked berries and locally brewed craft beers.

ALL IN: Activities and excursions are always included in the voyage price. CHEERS! Enjoy complimentary beer and wine aboard our U.S.-flagged ships.
