When following up with Connected Contacts (those leads that you keep a running list of), share all of these opportunities. Then, let them decide which is best for them. Use this page as a guide, but feel free to tweak the words to make them authentic to you!

If she isn’t interested in being an Insider: Keep chatting and listen for hints that she might be interested in starting her own business.

SAY

“Hi Shannon! It was so great meeting you the other day, I had so much fun chatting. I think you would make such a great party host! We have a fun outlet with amazing deals happening this month, and you could even earn free and exclusive products. Would you be interested in hearing more?” If she is interested, in being an Insider: • Share the details of the Insider Rewards program • Schedule her party • Follow the Insider Checklist to coach her

As you coach your Insider or chat with your contact, listen for key phrases that might tell you she’d be interested in starting her own Thirty-One business, like: • “I’m really busy” • “I don’t have any extra money right now” • “I work a lot” • Or, if she has many friends who love Thirty-One’s products

Let her know how joining Thirty-One might be the solution!

If she decides not to host a party or join Thirty-One, invite her to join your VIP Facebook group so she can stay up to date on all the latest products and fun that Thirty-One has to offer.

SAY

“I completely understand. I’m a busy mom too, and that’s why I love my Thirty-One business. It allows me to work wherever I am and earn a little extra income on the side, all while spending time with my family. I would love to share more. Would you like to meet in person or virtually for coffee this week?” If she says yes to meeting, schedule a time to get together and chat about Thirty-One with her. She may decide she just wants to be an Insider, or she may realize that Thirty-One is just what she’s been looking for.
