GuidelinesBrand Lindsey Gatlin, June 2021
The primary Student Activities logo is in a circle format. This more detailed logo embraces the mission of Student Activities to encourage belonging, engage our campus, and connect students.
This circle functions in two formats: one with bold colors, and one in just a solid color. The solid color can be used in any of the brand’s primary colors.

MarksSecondary
There is also an outlined version with the brand’s colors as the background and either black or white text.
The first secondary logo is in an extended format. This longer version features one of the icons from the primary logo with the full Student Activities/Anderson University text.
The tertiary logos are both wordmarks. The first is a curved wordmark that is the secondary logo minus the illustration. This is ideal for when a simpler mark is best.
MarksTertiary
Both marks function in any of the primary colors.
The other tertiary option is for more formal occasions and is just the brand’s typography.
For social media usage, a most simplified version of the primary mark can be used in black, blue, or coral with white type.
MarkSocials
This mark allows for the logo to be set at a smaller scale without sacrificing readability.

Filson Pro is the primary typeface. The bold version can be used for headers and likewise. The regular weight is great for body copy. Both are most readable in all-caps with additonal tracking.

Alegreya ExtraBold is reserved for accent use. This type is harder to scale and therefore is best when used sparingly. e f Pro Regular b c d e f j k l m q r s t u v w x y z B C D E F J K L M O Q R S T U V W X Y Z

With such a vibrant brand, using bold colors is imperative. The primary five-step palette is meant to be the starting point for all other color decisions. The five colors do not need to be used exclusively but, one should be in each piece of material (digital or print).

ElementsIllustrated
A key part of the primary logo mark are the hand-illustrated elements. These symbols represent the fun and exciting events that Student Activities organizes.
These elements can be placed at any scale, in any color using the SVG files and Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva. PNGs of each element in each primary color are also in the branding folder and can be scaled to most sizes.
