We are studying and monitoring the volcano almost all the time so there is no need to be worried. We make it one of are priorities that citizens are safe from the volcano that’s why we make regular checks: • on all building to make shore they would be safe • that buildings are not in the path of laver • that we have arrangements for the old and disabled so that they are not left in there homes And last of all we make sure everyone is safe.

What it would be like to visit or live near to the volcan de fuego

By Joe

The experience The volcan de fuego is located in Mexico, which in itself can be a nice holiday location. But just imagine how incredibly epic (and a bit dangerous) it would be to live near a volcano! It erupts pretty much daily but 99% of its eruptions are tiny and just release little streams of slowly flowing lava that you can walk faster than. You could do fun things like touch the flowing lava with a stick and see what happens which shouldn’t be a dangerous thing to try.

By Joe

Don’t worry it’s safe! The volcano is monitored properly with weekly (sometimes daily) reports about what condition the volcano is in. There is a big eruption almost annually and since the city isn’t exactly next to the volcano then most times only the closest houses are evacuated but it all depends on how big they predict the eruption to be.

By Joe

Look at that!! Scary but very exciting

By Joe

You must think living on a volcano is a bit cuckoo, but actually it is the best experience and cheapest way of living ever!â˜ş You can get geothermal energy from the volcano, so basically a sauna and heat for free! Plus the lovely and amazing sight of being this close to a volcano! A once in a lifetime experience! On the next slide, here are some health and safety rules to not becoming frazzled and fried like a fish! All pyrotechnics welcome, if you are fascinated with scary fire! â˜ş

By Rebecca

You will be protected, we monitor the volcanoe everyday, so we all make sure you are all safe. If there is ever an eruption, we have put a little underground hole in your houses, so you can go underneath, and also we have given you a torch, blanket, drinks, in case you need to stay down there until the eruption has passed, plus a lava-proof metal room, that is where you go and wait, you will be safe in there. If there is ever a rumbling sound curl up into a ball and protect your head!
