As an artist I call myself a Lineaist. Lineaism is work derived from line; lines in ink on paper. Sometimes those lines become drawings, then paintings. Sometimes they become words for poems and songs, sometimes appointments and contacts. The lines can become timelines, or the act of connecting the dots between people. Lineaism is the one word to describe my entire process, experience, and perspective around the globe, through life lessons, and in hundreds of drawings and paintings, a play Unrewind (2001), and a feature-length film, Louvst (2006). In 2010 Lineaism grew to include the ink on paper for an AGSM MBA transcript from the Australian School of Business, in the hopes that my art is worth it. As I live more and learn more, I am constantly humbled by the lives around me, and the desire to serve a higher power. I hope to draw you closer to me, only that I may learn more from you and filter my human experience more accurately through the limited frame I’m given.
