AR 102 : VISUAL STUDIES AND COMMUNICATION IN ARCHITECTURE
Mechanical study of objects to understand how they perform and develop their mechanical systems into individual design. Consisted of 2 phases of working:

MOCK-UP MODEL First mockup model was created to imitate the working system of original caulking gun by using compressed paper board, wooden tube, bolts and helix spring It works by squeezing the handle and the wooden stopper will push the stick forward and will stop the system instantly when letting go from the helix spring ability.

CAULKING GUN CAULKING (n.) is one of several different processes to seal joints or seams in various structures and some types of piping. Caulking gun is a mechanical tool, used to seal joints and leaks with silicone glue in architectural or other craft work. It is composed of; Metal frame 1 Curve-ended metal stick 2 Helix springs 2 Metal stoppers Handle

Developed model from the Caulking gun using system doubling in Y-axis to perform. It resulted in being able to push 2 sticks toward the opposite direction on each single push.

AR 216 : ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN 2 EARTHQUAKE PAVILLION This project had been developed from individual concept from soil and mine was ‘Earthquake’ which was main project concept. The project was divided into 2 separate phase On first project, was to design Soil Pavillion in 30 sqm. at Suan Rot-Fai On project 2, each student was assigned to design a public building pavilion with an additional program at Siam square.

CONCEPTUAL STUDY MODEL
DESIGN CONCEPT A space of experience where the user will feel the claustrophobia from the earthquake from space. The space will effect on the sense of equilibrium which human has to control their body, the unstableness caused from the space will give those experience to the users.

FINAL DEVELOPMENT Soil Pavilion Book Store Bicycle Stand
30 sqm 20 sqm
The pavilion was designed to be 2 walkway to the bookstore which were the one with cracked submerging floor surface which was meant to be the walk-to to the bookstore, and a normal smooth ground as a walk-back to the bicycle stand. So the user would have experiences in the journey.

EARTHQUAKE PAVILION 3 storeys building with a rooftop ,functioned as a night bar and bistro. On first 3 floors gave the experiences of nature and also natural disaster, the deeper, the more catastrophic journey space becomes.

STUDY MODELS Firstly, we designed in alternative schematics to study the Pro-Con of each one and then selected one to develop into the final scheme These model series showed the development of design and space and also the Thainess element in the building.

CIRCULATION SYSTEM Circulation diagram shows the system of the circulation in the design. Related to the concept of MAYA, the circulation was complicated but yet easy for the local because there was an easy way and loop to get to every important node.

OVERALL FEATURE The building was simply and solid, seen from the outside but when people stepped in, they could find lightness and also found this building wondering and sneakingly wanted to explore.

provincial electricity authority complex building This project was consisted of 3 continuous phases; of which all student had to design the Provincial Electric Authority complex building, located in Ngarm-Wongwarn; 1. Analysis Phase Started out the project with site analysis and individual analysis to create conceptual idea and so on. 2. PEA Service Center This phase mainly focused on the low-rise building, functioning as the whole campus service center with 500 seats ballroom and other facilities. 3. PEA Head Offifce A highrise building, functioning as the head offifce of the campus

PANORAMIC VIEW Site area was cluster of old building oriented in L-shape and functioned as a main canteen and a power plant for the campus, so is was an important node on site

CASE STUDY Most of the cases were landscape architecture in public scale and all these cases involved with the contouring form in their own way 1.VACHE NOIRE, landscape surrounding shaped the building and interior space as it was a ramp, so from the outside, people wouldn’t feel the massiveness of architecture

2,3. ACROS BUILDING, this mountain-like building was ecologically skinned with various type of trees and shrubs to create a natural feeling and people could walk up on the landscape and wouldn’t feel the massive offense from this architectural mass. 4. YOKOHAMA TERMINAL PORT, was neatly design to be a gigantic public port. On this case, an organic contouring form was created from the wood panel and proved that great landscape architecture did not always have to be green

CONCEPTUAL ANALYSIS
This formation concept came from the natural form of land, affected from windpower. This GEOMORPHIC shape was the concept to make the architecture eco-friendly and to support the organization’s vision in energy saving. The main low-rise building was arranged in contouring form which provide outdoor contouring space from the ground up to the green roof, and also there was natural intervention in many parts of the building
The character of this twin building was analysed, and found that they were like the wind tunnel to the site and became one of this project inspiration
These conceptual diagrams above showed how wind could affect in changing the form of something and then turn them into the various axis contour, as seen from the diagrams, orientation and form matter. The hilly mass usually carries wind better and also shapes the contour easier.

Green doubled skin facade Green vertical frame helps protecting the heat away from the functional space, especially on the south elevation which the sunbeam affects most of the time
Growing skin facade As the building was inspired by natural form and contour, this helps building protecting the heat and also creating a look of nature. Especially, this ivyskinned facade could grow over time and create the change of this building
Growing skin facade helps creating the volume and dimension of the exterior and also provide indirect light to the inside. The Louvered details only located in the direction that the sun could affect, like in the West and East.
