CONCEPT FOR DESIGN BASON PORT IS ONLY A PORT IN CENTER OF HO CHI MINH CITY. TODAY, HO CHI MINH CITY IS DEVERLOPING AND THE PORT IS MOVED AWAY FROM THE CENTER TO RE - ESTABLISH A NEW FLOATING MARKET. THIS MARKET IS THE GARDERING PLACE FOR TRADING FARM PRODUCE. IT IS ALSO A HISTORIAL LANDMARK FOR TOURISTS. THE CONCEPT IS TO REUSE THE ROOF FORM OF BASON FACTORY PORT, THE LARGE SPACE WITH STEEL AND GABLED ROOF . THE CONCEPT ALSO INTEGRATES THE NATURAL LANDSCAPE WITH WATER AS THE BACKGROUND FOR HUMAN ACTIVITIES. IT IS NOT ONLY A MARKET BUT ALSO A PLACE TO HOME THE SPECIAL IMAGE OF THE MEKONG DELTA CULTURE.
