Singapore is home to over twenty public libraries, providing knowledge for everyone in need. However there seems to be a common pattern: most libraries seem to lack studying space. At library@Orchard, studying seats are fully occupied 80% of the time(*), while reading seats are plenty and available. This leaves a niche to adapt the library to rising needs. Inspired by the ever flexible food trays, desk trays are here to the rescue. Library patrons simply push one from the corner-side dock, study & work backache-free, return after use just like at McDonald’s. Comes with lockable wheels, on a first-come, first-served basis.
so that we create something not just good,
