RAVE ON – A Tribute to Buddy Holly A 55th Anniversary Special Starring Marc Robinson from ‘Stars in their Eyes’, ‘Buddy The Musical’ and ‘Rockin on Heaven’s Door’ – along with his horned rimmed glasses, Stratocaster guitar and authentic costumes. In 1959 Buddy Holly and the Crickets were on a tour in the American Mid-West which ended in tragedy! In this the 55th Anniversary year without Buddy, Marc Robinson and the Counterfeit Crickets will bring you classics including ‘It Doesn’t Matter Any More’, ‘Heartbeat’, ‘Peggy Sue’, ‘True Love Ways, plus many many more! Rochdale Music Society presents

Pomegranate Piano Trio This fruitful collaboration between awardwinning and highly gifted musicians who share a passion for chamber music opens the 2014-2015 Rochdale Music Society season with a programme of Mozart, Anthony Payne, Beethoven and Rachmaninoff. Time: 7pm for 7.30pm

Zelkova Quartet Fresh, bright and full of energy, the Zelkova Quartet are frequently heard on BBC Radio 3 and recent performances include recitals at St Martin in the Fields in London and the BBC Proms Plus Portrait series.
