Four years since Heywood Reunited - Back in the Wood, Heywood’s original bar and club DJs - the same ones who defined a generation reunite for one final time, to remember the days the town had an amazing pub and club scene. Covering venues such as Spibs, Chamber House, Sohos, The Basement, The Vic, The Bamford Squash, Seven Stars, The Queen Anne, Kings, Bar Vino, The Ship, Freemasons and more, playing music of every genre, the lads are back in town and reunited, and for the last time ever we bring back legendary DJs Kev Doyle (Club Classics / Hip Hop); Nigel Walch ( 90s Floor fillers); Dave Sweetmore (Indie / Britpop / Madchester); Andy ‘Big H’ Hargreaves (70s & 80s Cheese); Nick Robinson (Old School Dance / Motown / SKA); Colin Schofield ( 80s & 90s Pop, Cheese, R’n’B); Bryan Brown (3 decades of Disco Classics). All hosted by the one and only original Heywood pub landlord Pete Wilky.

John has performed and broadcast as soloist, accompanist and chamber music pianist, in extensive and often adventurous repertoire, playing with members of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, the Hallé Orchestra and the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra and with leading singers both at home and abroad. Programme to include: Haydn Sonata in E, Fauré Barcarolles, Chopin Polonaise-Fantaisie Op 61, Rachmaninov songs transcribed by Earl Wild & Poulenc Soirées de Nazelles. Hello Dolly

Hello Dolly was first produced on Broadway in 1964, winning a record 10 Tony Awards including Best Musical, a record held for 35 years. Based on Thornton Wilder’s farce ‘The Matchmaker’ it follows the adventures of Dolly Levi, a meddlesome widow who strives to bring romance to the lives of anyone she meets, including herself. The show has become one of the most enduring musical theatre hits. Heywood Civic Centre is fully accessible to public areas with disabled lift to the upper floor. Customers are invited to discuss any special needs in advance. There is free parking to the side of the building with designated disabled parking bays. Car Park access is via Hornby Street.
