This colourful work will reinvent operatic language and traditions for children at an age when their minds are wide open to new sounds, images and experiences. The Wild Roadshow is proud to present the wonderful world of animals to children of all ages, in ‘hands-on’ animal encounter workshops.
Ever wanted to learn how to juggle? Spin plates? Ride a unicycle? Well now is the time! Rochdale’s very own Skylight Circus Arts will be stopping by Heywood Civic Centre to teach children the skills of the circus.
Get up close and personal with the likes of snakes, spiders and cockroaches and find out where they live, what they like to eat and much more. Interactive sessions with a trained creepy crawly specialist who will talk the children through all there is to know about the world of reptiles and more. A great way to meet new people and learn new skills for children during the school half-term holidays. With evil Gordon locked up in Strangeways for 5 years, the characters from Karen Woods’ debut novel “Broken Youth” come to terms with life without him. Misty, now married to Dominic, gives birth to Gordon’s child, Charlotte. Her former best friend Francesca also gives birth to one of Gordon’s children, Rico, while staying with Gordon’s heroin addicted brother Tom. Meanwhile, as the clock ticks down on his sentence, Gordon broods on the injustice of his situation and plots sweet revenge on those on the outside.
