Chore Services Funding for Chore Services comes from the Medicaid Waiver Program; the State of Alaska, Division of Senior and Disabilities Services through the Home and Community Based Senior Grants; Community Initiatives Matching Grants; Mat-Su Health Foundation and client contributions.

Eligibility

Chore Service

Chore Service is available for frail

Provides assistance with some of the following areas in home cleaning care:

individuals 60 years or older, or any age with an ADRD diagnosis. We accept Medicaid Waiver, clients who are able to pay the full fee for services, and we offer a sliding fee scale based on income.

Our Chore workers are mature and experienced

*essential home cleaning *washing client’s personal laundry *emptying the trash *changing bed linens *vacuuming, sweeping and mopping *cleaning major and minor appliances *cleaning the kitchen *cleaning the client’s tub, shower, and toilet

Chore Workers exercise methodical cleaning practices Chore Workers are carefully screened before hired with background checks and fingerprinting Honesty and Integrity are first priority when hiring a new Chore Worker

Chore Service assists clients who are no longer able to take care of essential home cleaning
