Who are you and what do you do? We are Parentsparents from Hongkong, Kowloon and the New Territories. We are a reasonably new street art group. The collective consists of people who do graffti art and illustration. We all met in the same design school. and trying to get out there and spread work and ideas on the street or perhaps your home. Parent’s parents work attempts to explore the limitless of chaos, exceptional beauty and mordernness. Other than that, we work in office, typing and controlling the stupid cursor by a mouse……
What is streetart? Something people draw and paste on the street. There is another group of people defines it as art. What is your point of view on streetart? Everyone can be a streetartist, as long as you are brave enough to step outside and show your talents on the street.
What do you think of the streetart scene in Hong Kong? Is there a lot of streetartists? Is it acceptable by the public? Why is it so much more unconventional compare to other countries such as Berlin and Barcelona? More and more people are starting to do graffiti, tags and street arts every year (we should do more...in fact‌) Most of the streetarts we see around us are done by foreign artists who passed by Hong Kong and left their marks here. But of course there are some local artists still hitting Hong Kong hard , like Xeme, Yumoh, Fact, Dreams, Devil and Crying in the morning..
Do you think there is a demand for it in Hong Kong? Um housing demand is more necessary in Hong Kong for youths .. What do you think of the future of streeart in Hong Kong? Is it heading to a good direction? um, should be good, since more people getting into the game.. but gotta see how long this game will last.
Compare to other countries, Hong Kong is the easiest city to bomb or do streetart I think. Cops don't really care, as they want less workload. Pedestrian don't give a shit. Perhaps it is good for hipsters as I have seen lot of pictures on instagram people posing in front of some tags or streetart, guess streetarts are getting more and more acceptable by the society.

T An illustrator/ artist who is currently based in Hong Kong. I am very influence by traditional Asian art and culture but I was also taught in England, thus I have developed a style bridging between the two cultures.

This piece was an illustration of my state of mine at the point of drawing. I am not religious at all. The background was done in a chaotic way, spray paint, splashing acrylic, uncontrolled raging marker blotches, the fun part of being an artist. In contrast, the content is single-coloured, clean lines of the giant Buddha making peace of mind to this crazy fire and flowers creating dragon.
