a collection of selected works from my time at CF Mรถller


GEYSIR New Highrise in Kista My first project at CF MÜller was a competition for a new highrise in Kista, north of Stockholm. Me and another associate developed a proposal for a new and modern residential tower that with its central location would serve as a new meeting place. Here, my role was to help come up with a conceptual idea, create smart and compact floor plans and units of different size and character. I created a 3D model and helped out with rendering and illustrations. The proposal won the competition and is now under developement. The concept combines the urban - in the shape of a lively ground floor, containing a food court - with green surroundings and the possibility of cultivating own crops. On the roof of the tower, a green common roof terrace is located, while several of the apartments have their own balcony and panoramic view over Stockholm. The tower is divided into two volumes that differ in relation to each other, the urban side and the green side. This also gives the building a recognizable silhouette and ensures shelter on the green roof terrace. The facade material is in the form of terrazzo and tombac that gives the building an elegant character. ATMOSPHERE Globen Gardens Globen Gardens is a development of a new district next to Globen and Tele 2 Arena, containing residental, commercial and office spaces. Together with a team at the office we created a proposal for a vibrant, modern and green city neighborhood, where you live side by side with a vibrant and urban space, adapted for big events and for the whole of Stockholm. The master plan unites city life with nature, privacy and community, pulse and calm. The area around Sรถderstadion, Hovet and Globen has long served as an isolated island in the middle of the city, enclosed by infrastructure and cut off from its surroundings. But also an island where events have given it a life of its own. In this way, the area next to Globen, with its unique urban potential has become a unique place in the city. The volumes are structured as lamellar structures and supplemented by higher buildings. These varies in height to create dynamics and airiness. In this way, a street and courtyard environment with good daylight conditions is achieved, with Globen constantly present in the fund. The lamellar structure is perforated by a number of pocket parks that creates variations of spatial experiences when you as either resident or visitor move through Globen Gardens. Through terraces and various building heights, the daylight in the public places has been optimized and the buildings are stepped down towards Globen.

ÅRSTAFÄLTET New neighbourhood development Another project I was a part of at CF Möller was a new residential neighbourhood in Årsta, south of Stockholm. Together with another associate and the support from a senior partner we developed a proposal for a competion containing 59 apartments and commercial spaces on the ground floor. The city had requested a lively city space and by thinking new and working with the architecture and volumes, we wanted to create a natural meeting place with the chance to serve other activities in the middle of the city block. Our vision was to create a city. A dense urban planning where the life between the houses creates spaces and where the meeting between street and building contributes to the meeting between residents and visitors. We wanted to create an intimate urban space with a public feel. Housing is created from the inside out and urban spaces are created from the outside in and it is in this meeting that we can create sustainable buildings that are not only in the city but also contributes to it.
