This practice have four different sites local in Tamsui old Street. The team have to come out a solution oR perspective of Tamsui in order to give a new definition of the old Street or produce a new plan for it.

In our team, we found out the area where visitors stop exploring the site, where is about the site no.2 and no.3, we believe with a new plan that involves with flesh mob performance, which brings excitement and new experience of the site can give the old street a life and bring back the glory as it's old time. Every site have it's original program given by the department. Site No.1 is a community centeR, site No.2 is a backpackers inn, No.3 is a conference center and site No.4 is an art classroom. With the TEAM plan, each of site have it's duty to deliver. Site No.1 and 2 will play the crucial roleS to provide some space for flesh mob to get in and perform. Site No.3 will have to provide a space for those people to discuss their plan or a place to create new ideas. Site No.4, given it have a original program as an art classroom we came out a ideas which is a well that can be occupied by graffiti and change over night.

DESIGN CONCEPT In order to respond the team plan of Flesh mob, which mean a group of people with no curtain number and pop-up in no curtain site to perform, I desire to deliver the concept of the crucial meaning of Flesh mob, that is flexibility and surprise. Given that I can't have accurate number of the users, the space I design should be changeable. I can't control the member of users , but what I know is the relationship between spaces. Imagine that we are going to a forum, we need a reception to check in or indicate the event we're going, a main space to hold the event, a subspace to let people change cards and have some social interaction and a service space provide toilet and water. By fully understand the order how people experience an even, give me a control point to design the space.
