Hailing from a long-standing family tradition specialising in the furniture industry in Scandinavia, the founders of Lio Collection, Christos Vasileois Liokouras and his wife, Charlotte, have always adhered to their lifelong philosophy of “Customer Satisfaction Always Comes First!” Having been in the furniture and home furnishings industry for over 35 years, based in Europe and sourcing worldwide, Christos and Charlotte foresaw that the future of the supply element of the industry and the rapidly-growing local economies lie in Asia. In 2006, Christos and Charlotte decided to relocate the company's headquarters from Scandinavia to The Island Of Gods – Bali , where talent and creativity abound. This move was made to better serve Lio's customers by being close to sources of raw materials and manufacturing facilities, including Lio's own state-of-the-art 12,000 M2 furniture factory, warehousing and distribution facilities in Java. Over the years, Bali has developed into the “showroom” of Indonesia's creative industries. Lio Collection is firmly placed at its centre.
