INTRODUCTION

Numbering 77 million, millennials – those aged 25-34 – make up one-fourth of the U.S. population. These young souls are drawn to big cities like NYC, San Francisco, LA, DC and Chicago by jobs, night life and good food, but often find they can’t afford to live there. In lieu of living directly in these cities, millennials are moving to up-and-coming neighborhoods in NYC that direct access to the New York city life experience, and a trendy atmosphere of their own. Historically one of the country’s highest priced cities, New York City has a median rent of $2,800, yet like San Francisco, New York ranks in the top five in its growth of millennial population. Nearly a third (32%) of the cities population falls into the millennial range, seeking all that the city has to offer including the Brooklyn Bridge, the NBA’s Nets, Museums and top music and comedy acts appearing at the Barclay Center.

Jayden Smith By defying conventional gender

stereotypes, Smith has become a representation for those who identify as a non-binary gender. Over the past year or so, Jaden Smith has gained significant media attention for wearing women’s clothing. He spoke out about it, claiming that his clothes aren’t ‘girl clothes’, and that they’re just ‘clothes’.

Banksy is a an England-based graffiti artist, political

Kanye West

Esquire saluted as the first of The Style Blog’s new American icons of men’s fashion. His reverence for flair has led him to some interesting sartorial places, but no matter how unusual, his super-size confidence has allowed him to pull it off, more so than the many who’ve followed in his footsteps.

The Statue of Liberty is a colossal neoclassical sculpture on Liberty Island in New York Harbor in New York City, in the United States. It was a gift to the United States from the people of France. Associating this with feminism stresses personal freedom as much as it does equality and, when infused with the younger female generation’s bent toward inclusion.

Destitute Souls

As in other American cities, New York City’s unsheltered homeless populations in concentration in the central businesss district, such as Manhattan. Furthermore, Millenials are the best-educated generation, but also the most indebted. The Millenial generation is also the one that faces staggering levels odf debt, a bleak job market for even those with college degrees. This has contributed to the overall prospect of having a less proposperous future than the previous generation.

Iconic Ruination

Millions of people were affected by the September 11 terrorist attacks — from physical and mental health problems to financial loss. This large and diverse population had different exposures after the collapse of the World Trade Center (WTC), and health effects have varied as a result. More than a decade of studies suggests that while the majority of people exposed to the WTC disaster are healthy and symptom free, thousands of individuals—including rescue, recovery and clean-up workers and people who lived, worked or went to school in Lower Manhattan on 9/11—have developed chronic, and often co-occurring, mental and physical health conditions.

Construction has always been booming in New York City, creating beautiful architectures. New York City is entering what could be the biggest building boom in a generation, census figures show, as work gets under way on hundreds of residential projects in neighborhoods across the city.

Spiritual Reconstruction

Urban Garden

Central Park is the most visited urban park in the United States as well as one of the most filmed locations in the world, with 40 million visitors in 2015, located in middle-upper Manhattan, New York City While planting and land form in much of the park appear natural, it is in fact almost entirely landscaped. Surrounded by the concrete buildings, the park contains several natural-looking lakes, gardens and ponds that have been created artificially.

The Empire State Building is an American cultural icon. It is designed in the distinctive Art Deco style and has been named as one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World by the American Society of Civil Engineers. Millennials have indeed racked up $1 trillion in student loan debt to become the most highly educated, highly indebted generation in history, and they’re handling their business a whole lot differently than their parents’ generation. This is causing many people who are stuck in the “there’s-a-right-way-to-do-things” mantra to spin out of control.

New York has architecturally significant buildings in a wide range of styles spanning distinct historical and cultural periods. The building form most closely associated with New York City is the skyscraper, which has shifted many commercial and residential districts from low-rise to high-rise. Surrounded mostly by water, the city has amassed one of the largest and most varied collection of skyscrapers in the world.

Anyone who has ever visited Manhattan will surely recognize the brightly lit signs and billboards that are a hallmark of Times Square. Even if you have never visited, this landmark crossroads is often the backdrop to television or cinema. Rather, these installations are high-tech, glowing bright with LEDs and high-definition displays, captivating and distracting all at the same time. Every day more than 360,000 pedestrians pass through Times Square, with still more riding in vehicles. This makes it one of the busiest tourist attractions in the world. The Times Square Alliance estimates that between 40 and 50 million tourists visit the site each year. Times Square remains the most colorful and vibrant commercial corridor on earth, guaranteeing optimal brand exposure.

Swank Propaganda

Graffiti in New York City has had a local, countrywide, and international influence. Originating in the New York City Subway and spreading beyond it, it is regarded by the city’s authorities as an act of vandalism, while some view it as an art form. As graffiti became associated with crime, many demanded that the government take a more serious stance towards it, many graffiti artists, however, chose to see the new problems as a challenge rather than a reason to quit. downside to these challenges was that the artists became very territorial of good writing spots, and strength and unity in numbers (gangs) became increasingly important.

Ceaseless Flux

New York never stops. From restaurants that do not close, to lots of nightlife at all hours, New York City is the only city in the world with a subway system that does not close. So you can go out until 4am and still get home. Adding to this, researchers have long known that New York citizens wald fast—far faster than anyone else in the country. Indeed, the easiest way to tell a New Yorker from an out-of-towner is by walking speed
