3. SenePlex Complex

SenePlex Complex is formulated into every SeneDerm & SenseCosmetics cream product. The SenePlex Complex is a unique combination of ingredients that, when used properly, accelerates cellular renewal growth.

• The Actives in SenePlex Complex are a Kinetic Enzyme: Kinetic Enzymes create energy. This means that SenePlex speeds up the natural process of reproducing cells without changing the process itself.

• SenePlex Complex is a mixture of unique ingredients and raw materials contained within a delivery system that allows for penetration and delivery of the SenePlex Complex actives into the second layer of the skin, the dermis. At the very base of this layer, the actives create a kinetic enzyme reaction and increase the cellular growth production. Increasing cellular growth has a substantial impact upon the health and conditions of the skin.

• Simply stated: SenePlex Complex impacts the growth of living cells and increases the cellular renewal process at a rate never before seen in the cosmetics and skincare industry.

• SenePlex Complex’s direct effects upon the skin: In the normal course of cellular production, cells are generally dehydrated and hardened by the time they reach the outer layer of the epidermis. 4. Layer by Layer you add SenePlex Complex into the skin

SenePlex Complex is added to your skin through the layering process so it can absorb as much of the complex as possible. You layer SenePlex Complex onto your skin with each application and of SeneDerm Skin Care Systems and Creamy SenseCosmetics.

Example: If I were to give to each of you a gallon of milk and ask you to drink it within the next five minutes - could you do it? Most likely not. But, you could drink it throughout the course of a 24-hour period because your body assimilates it – then you may drink more. Your skin drinks in SenePlex Complex the same way.

5. Independent Laboratory Results

SeneGence sent samples of the product to an independent laboratory to verify our in-house test results of SenePlex Complex for publication less than 5% of products in the marketplace today do this. They claim marketed results, or invent un-verified self-tested results for marketing spin.

The independent laboratory tests were based upon the use of the Evening Moisturizer over the course of eight weeks. 100% of those tested experienced significant changes in their skin

A. The Skin’s Cellular Renewal Cycle increased an average of 23.3%

B. Moisture and hydration increased an average of 54.2%

The dehydration process of these newer cells has not been completed even as they are replaced with the cells rising to the top from underneath. Moisture content is improved through increased cellular production. Cells maintain a greater amount of moisture making them more plump and supple.

C. Skin firmness and elasticity increased an average of 51.9%

Increased cellular growth also means less time for cells to naturally loose collagen content and break down elastin fibers that make the skin sag. Increased cellular production also helps to increase firmness and elasticity of the skin naturally due to the retention of moisture in and around the cells.

D. Luminosity increased an average of 48.7%

Replacing older dead cells with cells that maintain greater moisture content makes skin more luminous. When light touches the surface of dead cells, the light is absorbed, making complexions dull. However, when light touches a cell containing moisture, the light reflects off of the moisture making skin “glow.

E. Reduction of fine lines and wrinkles by an average 55.7%

Fine lines and wrinkles are often attributed to the buildup of dehydrated, dead skin that has been compacted into certain areas of the skin surface. With healthy, moist, luminous cells produced at a constant, increased rate, fine lines and wrinkles are sure to diminish because dead, dry, flat cells are replaced with fuller and plumper cells from the bottom up. Also, the SeneDerm 3-in-1 Cleansers maintain the surface exfoliation process to ensure the fullest, plumpest cells are on the skin’s surface.

• Balancing and Diminishing Skin’s Discoloration:

With increased cellular growth, it is conceivable to imagine that non-genetic color spots created by unhealthy skin could be replaced by healthier, more beautiful skin. This could result in a more evenly colored skin surface, making your complexion appear smoother.

Blemished Skin Types:

Conceivably, one could suppose that if cells are being produced at an increased speed, small lesions created by blemishes could possibly heal faster.

Notes: 6. Molecular Size or Molecular Weight

The size of each of the ingredient’s molecules within a product greatly determines the effectiveness of the ingredients and the product.

• Products made of ingredients with very large molecules spread from one side of the pore opening to the other, covering or “clogging” the pore, so the product cannot penetrate through the surface of the skin

• Ingredients made with smaller molecules may penetrate through the surface of the skin.

• If products claim to contain ingredients that are beneficial and affect various layers of your skin, then those ingredients must be made of molecules that are small enough to penetrate through the surface of the skin

Example of smaller molecules delivered into the skin:

SeneDerm Anti-Aging Skin Care System and creamy SenseCosmetics are made with a variety of Molecular Weights (sizes) so that specific ingredients are able to deliver the active ingredients of SenePlex Complex into the skin, through the skincare Daily Regimen.

7. Molecular Weights and Protecting the Skin

The molecular weight of the ingredients of a product that remain on the surface of the skin is vital, as they can act as an important barrier to protect your skin from free radicals in the atmosphere. Free radicals (different types of atmospheric bacteria) can eat away at the molecules that protect the skin. If free radicals are successful in breaking down the protective layer on the surface of the skin, the moisture below the skin’s surface can then transfer into the atmosphere.

It is important to balance the size of the molecular weight of ingredients needed for protection of the skin with the purpose of the product. At the same time, avoid molecular weights that are comedogenic in nature.

One of the goals of our products is to help balance and maintain moisture content of the skin. Based upon a variety of molecular weights in each of the products, the size of the molecules determines the hours of protection.

8. The Truth about Actives

An “active” ingredient (example: Vitamins A, B, D, and E, etc.) is an ingredient or combination of ingredients that impact the way in which a process happens. Active enzymes have energy. Energy moves and will eventually (or quickly) runs out.

• If active ingredients are mixed within a liquid solution, they may easily move about as the solution is not very dense, so the active ingredients quickly run out of energy.

• When active ingredients are in a more solid solution or mixture, the density will prevent them from running out of energy as quickly as those in a liquid solution.

SeneDerm Anti-Aging Skin Care Systems and Creamy SenseCosmetics are manufactured based upon a “Just in Time” inventory system to help ensure that fresh products with active ingredients are passed onto our SeneGence Distributors, who then deliver them into the hands of every user.

Climate Control is made of smaller molecule weights than the creams and is good for all skin types. It was created to balance the moisture content of the skin by delivering more hydration into the skin.

• The natural oil complex – SelPlex - wedges between the cells that do not have enough moisture content to separate one cell wall from the next. As the SelPlex makes its way between the cellular walls, it then delivers additional moisture along with SenePlex Complex into the skin.

• Pulls the heat & ruddiness out of the skin

• You must use Daytime or Evening Moisturizer, or SeneSerum-C after the application of Climate Control to seal it into the skin.

Notes: Facts about Moisture - The goal of a good skin care system must include maintaining and balancing moisture content of the skin.

• Your body is 86% water (H2O)

• Your body constantly transfers moisture into the atmosphere

Example: Hold Eyes Wide Open. The sensitive nerve endings of the eyeball feel the drying process from tears of the eyes transferring into the atmosphere. This is what happens throughout your entire body.

• Skin is a Permeable Membrane: Tiny molecules may transfer from one side of your skin to the other through the tiny holes of the skin.

Example: Divide a liquid pitcher with a permeable membrane down the middle - left side is full of salt water (3/4 full) and the right side is partially (1/2 full) filled with regular water (H20). Then add a lid. If you left it over -night, what would happen? The two sides would balance out. The water molecules of the salt water solution transferred through the permeable membrane to the other side, creating balance. The salt water solution is denser due to condensation of salt molecules.

Part Two - SeneBlends & Application

We believe women can wear any color and color plays a big role in making a great FIRST impression. Color harmony is the goal…colors that work well together, because they are in the same family of colors: • Yellow Base Colors • Blue Base Colors • Neutral Base Colors This brings us to SeneBlends. You’ll want to match the Color cosmetic color base family with the clothing colors closest to your face … usually the colors in your blouse or jacket.

Makeup artistry is about creating balance. Both sides of your face have different shapes and proportion. When your features are in balance, you will achieve that “put together” look.

STEP #2 – Color Correcting Tinted Moisturizer

• Lighter, sheer coverage and color correcting benefits

STEP #3 – Foundation

• Color should match just above jaw line into the neck

• 2 squirts of Foundation on top of brush, or mix on pallet

• Dab on all areas where Foundation is desired (forehead, cheeks, neck, etc.)

• Swirl in a circular motion to apply and achieve “airbrushed” effect

Pearlizer

• Wear alone, mixed with foundation; as a highlighter; mixed into other cosmetics (i.e.: Eye Shadows, Blush, etc.)

• Adds a luminous and radiant glow

STEP #4 - Concealer

A Use appropriate Concealer shade to conceal shadows & discoloration in areas indicated, prior to Foundation application.

B Final Touches – Upon completing entire SeneBlends look & prior to application of powder with angled blending brush, apply another layer of Foundation™ to help eliminate shadows.

Silhouette: Lines indicate areas of the face that most often need a Concealer.

Concealers help to eliminate discolored areas on the skin. There are several shades – each to cover specific issues:

• Green - gets the red out

• Natural – blends, mixes & highlights to whiten or lighten

• White Highlighter/Blender - blends, mixes & highlights to whiten or lighten

Step #5 – Eye Brows

A Inner Brow

Placement is determined by using a pencil from the side of nose straight up

Each brow should arch above outer edge of iris

C Outer Brow

Brow or tail should end where pencil hits when placed from side of nose to outer corner of eye. Aim tail of brow toward top of ear; never bring it downward around shape of eye (if tail is curving downward, it closes the face)

Notes:

• If dark around eyes – using blending brush, mix small amount of foundation with White or Natural Concealer

• When in doubt about what brow color to use – go with lighter shade

• Alternatives Brow Shades: Moca Java Shadow, Garnet Shadow, Café Latte Foundation

• Experiment using lip liner applicator if brush is too difficult to use

Step #6

- Eye Shadow Placement

Determine where eyes are set on the face: Even, Wide, Close

To determine where eyes set upon the face measure the width from outer corner of eye to hair line and compare the length to the measurement of the inner corner of one eye to the inner corner of the other eye.

Even Set Eyes

ABase - Lightest shade at the base of eyelid to brow

BBlending - Medium shade on the outer 1/3 of the lower eyelid, inner 1/3 of the lower eyelid

CAccent - Darkest shade on the middle 1/2 of the lower eyelid

DEye Liner - Medium shade on the outer 2/3 upper eyelid, and below 2/3 of the bottom lashes beginning at the outer corner to the inner corner

Wide Set Eyes

ABase - Lightest shade at the base of the eyelid to brow

Blending - Medium shade on the outer 1/2 of the lower lid

CAccent - Darkest shade on the inner 1/2 of the lower lid

Notes: Great base coats for eyelids include:

• Your Foundation

• Natural & White Concealer/Highlighter,

• ShadowSense - Whisper Pink, Sandstone Pearl, Candlelight

• Any product or combination that helps to even out the skin tone

Step #7 – Eye Liners

Eyeliners colors such as Black, Black Brown and Brown are shades that are used to help fill in between the lashes to make your lashes look thicker.

Secondary colored eyeliners help to complete the look of the chosen color selection (i.e.: Any ShadowSense eyeshadow can be used as accent liner colors)

• “Unforgiving” formula stays put

• Allow alcohol to dissipate before applying (few seconds)

Step #8 - Blush

Contour Blush along jaw line & side of the neck to create a “pedestal”

• Never place blush below the nose or any closer to the nose than between the pupil and side of nose.

• Always look in mirror from the side to make sure you have completely blended your blush into cheek area.

• Cream based blush will always reflect more light and be more moisturizing to the skin throughout the day.

• For new blush shades, use Cream blush, mix foundation with LipSense, Silver Rose (shimmering) or Bronze Dust Translucid Powder.

Step #9 Contouring – Translucid Bronzer, Bronze Blush, Foundation

• “Dark Deepens”

• Apply where depth, hollows or contouring is desired (under cheekbone, along jaw, temples, sides of neck, sides of nose)

• Use a darker shade of Foundation or Bronze Blush to create contours

• Provides another layer of skincare and color cosmetic to the face with additional mechanical shield properties

Step #10 - Highlighters (“Light Lifts”)

Beneath Eyes

A Use EyeLuminator or Pearlizer to highlight & open eye area

Using flat-panned SeneBlend blending brush, begin application just short of bottom lash eye line, blending down and fanning outwards into blush. Apply onto inner eye near nose to help eliminate deep shadows.

Notes:

Highlights for the Upper Eyes

Above the lid:

• Use a thin application of Candlelight, Natural Concealer or EyeLuminator on brow bone (just under brow) for an instant eyelift – blend well and always blend upward

• If still dark under eyes, use same procedure as above … under the eyes

#11 - Lip Color & Lip Liner Application

A Create lines so that each side of the lip is the same height & fullness (balance)

B Create lines so that the tips of the lips end at the same height on either side of the upper lip (do not slant downward)

C Create lines so that each side of the lips are the same length & fullness

Lining lips helps give a more defined look, and helps to enhance or correct natural lip shape. You can redefine and enhance a lip line without the worry of the line coming off or bleeding because our product molecularly binds to the skin.

Notes:

D Apply LipSense lip color – press and glide from 1 corner of mouth/lip to the other. “Paint” the liquid lip color on in 1 steady motion … do not smear back & forth.

• Choose your favorite shade of LipSense Liquid Lip Color and apply 3 layers for the longest staying power

• 3-layer technology: can create custom shades by applying different colors on each layer

• SD Alcohol40 serves as a color blender & creates a bacteria-free environment (can cause tingling on dry lips)

E Apply Moisturizing Gloss – to ensure the long-lasting color technology, use ONLY LipSense Moisturizing Gloss

• Shea Butter deep moisturizing formula helps heal lips

• Apply after 3 layers of LipSense, and reapply generously throughout the day

Apply all over the face beginning at the top of the forehead moving in a light sweeping motion downward.

• Helps to neutralize ruddy complexions

• Helps keep a shine free all-day long matte appearance by absorbing excess oil and moisture

• Can be used alone for a natural matte finish

• Provides another layer of skincare and color cosmetic to the face with additional mechanical shield properties

A review of the basics of the SeneGence product line that really works is the brick upon which your house (business) is built.

Lip Products

Q: Why do I sometimes feel a tingling sensation when applying LipSense®?

A: LipSense users who feel a slight tingling sensation may have dry lips. Using our rich Moisturizing Gloss, which is made of shea butter, for two to three days should alleviate dryness, and the tingling sensation should cease. Consistent use of the Moisturizing Gloss, applied before bedtime or by itself during the day, will help dry, cracked lips. LipSense is not recommended for use on broken skin.

Q: How long will one tube of LipSense last?

A: Using the same color of LipSense everyday on average lips, one tube can last up to three months.

Q: Why is it recommended that first-time buyers purchase the complete Basic Lip Set (one LipSense, one Moisturizing Gloss, and one Ooops!™ Remover)?

A: SeneGence recommends the purchase of a Basic Lip Set to the firsttime buyer because all three products serve specific purposes to ensure optimal quality and longevity of the SeneGence lip products. To protect the quality of the LipSense color and to keep the lips moist and supple, the Moisturizing Gloss should be applied on top the color. Reapply the gloss throughout the day as it wears off. The Ooops! Remover helps to correct those Ooops! mistakes made while applying LipSense.

Q: What do I do if I accidentally spill LipSense on my clothing?

A: It has been our experience that most of the LipSense Liquid Lip Colors can be removed from clothing with dry cleaning fluid. Take the garment to your dry cleaner or ask to purchase a small amount of their dry cleaning fluid. Be sure to first spot test the garment to ensure the dry cleaning fluid does not harm the material.

Q: Does our product contain lead?

A: These inquiries seem to stem from an internet rumor which began around 2003, concerning the false allegation concerning lead in various

lipstick brands. Although LipSense (to our knowledge) was never mentioned in the internet rumor, the inquiry to us on the subject nevertheless began about that same time. Please be assured that it does not and never has contained lead.

Eye Products

Q: Why do some people experience a tingling sensation when applying EyeSense™?

A: EyeSense™ contains a cosmetic-grade alcohol, which is used in countless cosmetics and is an FDA (Food & Drug Administration) approved ingredient. To avoid this tingling sensation when applying EyeSense™, simply blow on the brush for a few seconds before application.

Q: Why should I use BrowSense®?

A: Since the eyebrow frames the eye, it is the most important feature of your eye, and regardless of whether you have thick or non-existent brows, every brow can use BrowSense. While thicker brows need just a sparse amount, this amazing brow product helps unruly brows take shape. Nonexistent brows magically appear and look astonishingly real with the unique BrowSense delivery system. Average brows are filled in perfectly with this long-lasting, waterproof product.

Q: What is UnderSense™?

A: UnderSense™ is an amazing lash-builder that is used underneath LashSense®. Apply as many layers as desired to increase the thickness of your lashes. Then apply LashSense to complete this gorgeous effect.

Q: Does ShadowSense™ contain the proprietary SenePlex ingredient, which has proven to diminish fine lines and wrinkles?

A: Yes, ShadowSense does contain the revolutionary SenePlex ingredient. Not only are you able to add glamour to your beautiful eyes, but you can also help fight signs of aging.

SeneGence Products

Q: Have any animal testing methods been used while developing any of the SeneGence products?

A: No, SeneGence does not use animal testing for any of its products. All products are clinically tested and verified by independent labs.

Q: Are SeneGence products approved by the FDA?

A: FDA approval starts at the raw material level. All raw materials in the SeneGence product line are approved by the FDA. Furthermore, all SeneGence products are manufactured in an FDA-approved manufacturing facility.

Q: Can I use the products interchangeably?

A: SeneGence does not recommend the use of its products outside of their intended use. For example, LipSense on the eyelids can be difficult to remove and could cause redness and irritation while trying to remove.

Q: What is the difference between Fooops!™ and Ooops!?

A: Fooops! Facial Color Remover can be used to remove any of the color cosmetics that SeneGence produces (including LipSense). Ooops! Lip Color Remover is used strictly on the lips, and it works best at removing mistakes made during application as opposed to removing lip color that has been on all day.

Q: What is SenePlex?

A: SenePlex is an advanced moisturizing, hydrating, cellular-renewal formula of vitamins, marine algae, botanicals, and precious oils. The SenePlex complex has been clinically proven to increase the rate of skin cellular renewal and dramatically improve the skin’s properties while diminishing the visible signs of aging after only eight weeks of usage.

Q:

Does the skincare and foundation contain sunscreen?

A: When the SeneDerm DayTime Moisturizer and MakeSense™ Foundation are used together, a mechanical shield is produced that is equivalent to an SPF (Sun Protection Factor) of 30.

Q: Why should I use the MakeSense Foundation?

A: First spray, and then rub in Climate Control. This product should be applied on the body or face, after cleansing and before applying the SeneDerm Hand & Body Lotion or Moisturizers. This product works best on people with dry or sensitive skin, but anyone wishing to receive its antiaging benefits will want to use it as well.
