Hostess Coaching with the Glamour Demo Hostess Pack
The Hostess Pack is an exciting tool for you to use to coach your Hostesses to have a successful Demo.
It is important to do one-on-one Hostess Coaching whenever possible whether at home, at lunch, coffee break, after work, etc. Meeting with your Hostess and going through the Hostess Pack in person will help to solidify the Demo date. A Demo is less likely to rearrange or cancel when you establish this relationship, as does booking the Demo within two weeks when possible
Here are some important steps in Hostess Coaching:
1. Review the contents of the Pack.
2. Be sure that you have studied and understand the Hostess Appreciation Program on the Hostess Planner page in the Pack.
3. Use the Hostess Planner page in the Pack to establish the “gift goal” for free products and product discounts.
4. Help start their Guest List using the Planner, with a goal to invite 30 people; 15 will say “Yes” and approximately seven will attend.
5. Coach them on how to invite, using the best word choices to get good attendance… “Can I count on you to come?”
6. Show them how to get outside and absentee orders from those who cannot attend, and to invite them to host their own Demo. Only give a Hostess five days after the Demo (and before the close of the month) to collect any extra orders for Demo Host Credit.
7. Have them mail Reminder Postcards (25 in the Pack), Evites, etc. These should be a reminder only, not the actual invitation. The real invitation is the Hostess’s voice inviting them to attend … it does make a difference.
8. Have them also select a “back-up Hostess” in case of an emergency. It could be a neighbor, who could fill-in at the last minute if needed.
9. Follow-up with two enthusiastic calls to your Hostess.
First call: Within 48 hours of booking the Demo to verify the date and time of the Demo. Have them select the time to begin the “demonstration”…30 minutes before will be the “Social Half Hour”. That allows you to start the Demo on time. It is now in ink, and you need five days’ notice if there is a change in the date. Also, see how the inviting is going. Encourage them to over invite, and send the Reminder Postcards, etc.
Second call: Two days before the Demo to see how everything is going. Remind them to call back the “Yes” and “Maybe” responses to remind their Guests about the Demo. In addition, to tell their Guests to bring a friend. BE ENTHUSIASTIC! Your excitement will motivate them.
10. Always invite every Hostess to join us as a Distributor. Use the Beauty Book to help present the options available, and refer to the Opportunity Brochure in the Pack.

Discount – All New Demos Booked must be held within 30 days of the original Demo for the Hostess to receive credit. Each new Demo booked (up to 4) will equal an additional 5% off of the Hostess Personal Order.

Every Hostess can qualify*to receive a “Thank You” SeneGift for hosting a Glamour Demo of $300 or more. Gift choice is at the discretion of the gifting Distributor.
SeneGence reserves the right to contact hostesses to survey them on the SeneGift program and solicit their feedback.

TIPS TO A SUCCESSFUL GLAMOUR DEMO:
• Set your Hostess Gift goals – Determine what percentage discount you want and which SeneGift you’re going to receive (based on qualified Demo sales & bookings).
• Over invite – It’s a numbers game: Half the number of people you invite will say “Yes”, and half of that number will attend. Or goal is 7-10 guests: Invite 30, 15 will say “Yes” and 7 will attend.
• Words to say - To get the best attendance it helps to say “…can I count on you to come?” That will help identify the Yeses and No’s more clearly. Remind them to bring their favorite colour lipstick to match with our lip colours. If you need to build attendance, encourage every Guest to bring a friend.
• Keep the refreshments simple (i.e.: Coffee & cookies, etc.)
• Send a reminder Postcard Invitation (SeneGence) or Evite is suggested.
• Collect absentee orders from guests that cannot attend the Demo, and invite them to host their own demo too.
• HAVE FUN … It’s always fun to play make-up, especially with SeneGence!
*Here are some groups of people to consider when writing your guest list: Relatives, friends, school, clubs, church, co-workers, social contacts, spouse’s co-workers, parents of your children’s friends, sports teams, etc.
