The ALL New 15 H.O. Hassle-Free. Only Evinrude gives you three years or 300 hours without dealer-scheduled maintenance. That means no oil changes, no mixing of oil and gas, no belts to replace, no nothing. No other outboard can say anything close to that. Not two-stroke. Not four-stroke. Not any stroke. A lot happens in three years. With Evinrude, more of it happens on the water. Instant Starting. The Evinrude® E-TEC® 15 H.O. is the first and only Direct Injected engine in its class. There’s no choking, no pumping, and no risk of flooding your engine. Simply push the ignition button and start fishing. Slowest Trolling Speeds. The new Evinrude E-TEC 15 H.O. can idle as low as 620 rpm (lowest in class). Get the bait to the fish as slow as they want it, while your competition passes right on by. Touch-Troll™. Unlike typical 4 stroke engines, the new Evinrude E-TEC 15 H.O. lets you find just the right trolling speed. With Touch-Troll you can easily bump engine speeds in 50 rpm increments. Micro-Adjustable Tiller Height & Adjustable Handle. The ergonomic tiller handle can be Microadjusted vertically for the most comfort and optimal arm position, while the exclusive lateral adjustment allows the handle to be moved 20° port or starboard for maximum comfort and convenience in virtually any trolling application. Three Point Tiller Lock. This feature allows positioning of the tiller handle in 3 convenient operating positions making operating and stowing a breeze. Heavy Duty Brackets & Focus Motor Mounts. New robust brackets provide unsurpassed durability, while our Focus Motor Mounts reduce vibration for hours of smooth, comfortable operation. HIGHEST Displacement. With up to 3X more displacement than comparable competitor’s models, you’ll enjoy higher torque and smoother performance. High-Output Alternator. The new Evinrude E-TEC 15 H.O. delivers up to twice the charging capacity as the competition. This advantage is especially critical during the many hours of trolling (650 RPM), when electronics and bait wells can put a tremendous strain on most engine alternators.
