Taylors Jaraman Shiraz 750ml
Ingredients • 4 beef eye fillet steaks • virgin olive oil • 4 black plums, sliced • 300ml Taylors Jaraman Shiraz • Juice of half a lemon
Method 1. Bring the plums to the boil in a large saucepan. Then pour in Taylors Jaraman Shiraz and lemon juice, simmer for 20 minutes.
2. Puree with a masher or use a blender and mix to a smooth consistency. 3. Meanwhile heat the olive oil in a large heavy pan. Cook the eye fillet steaks for around 2 minutes each side, or to your preference of rare – well done. 4. Pour the plum sauce over the eye fillet steaks, serve hot.
