School Spotlights
What makes Abingdon Prep so special?
We care – we build confidence, support and encourage our boys, and foster a love of learning that will ensure they get the most out of education for many years to come.

We provide an enormous range of opportunities and indulge creativity. Boys are asked to get involved, work hard and be kind. Our teachers know how to get the best from our pupils whether they are shy or sensitive, robust or confident – and they are usually a mixture of all four! There is no typical Abingdon Prep boy.
Equally important as our impressive academic record is the ‘Other Half’, with over 100 extracurricular activities from Amazing Avatars to Ukulele Club - and there is plenty of fresh air and space to enjoy. Take a look at our website to see all that the boys do, and come to our open morning on Saturday 25 September. Our Lady’s Abingdon
What makes Our Lady’s Abingdon different?
We are a small school, big enough to offer a wide range of subjects and activities, but small enough to know, value and care for every child.
Our small class sizes allow children to receive individual attention and teachers ignite pupils with fun and innovative learning, ensuring that they are fully engaged in academic life and achieving excellent results.
All pupils are also encouraged to take part in a wide range of co-curricular, confidence-developing activities, including sport, drama, art, music and academic competitions.
Our outstanding system of highly praised pastoral care is at the centre of everything we do.
We see each child as a unique person, with gifts and talents to be nurtured, developing key qualities such as integrity, compassion, cooperation and courage. If you would like to find out more, please contact our Admissions team on 01235 544808/ admissions@ola.org.uk www.olab.org.uk/visit

The aim of this programme is to build well-rounded young people with many different passions who have a broad knowledge base, strong work ethic, self-belief and confidence.
