Traditional Foods By:Zoe Russ Not everyone has turkey and dressing for Thanksgiving, everyone has their own traditional food on Thanksgiving! I personally have turkey and dressing, but my friend doesn’t. Some people don’t even celebrate Thanksgiving,(which I think is stupid,) so they don’t have turkey and dressing, they might have their own traditional foods. Different people may have the following: - Chicken - Rice - Beans - Cakes/Pies - Tacos Yes it’s true, some people sometimes will just be happy with a burger from Mcdonald's (which is so lame!!!!!!!!!) More people will be happy eating bugs for this day,(and don’t even get me started on vegetarians and vegans.) Even though these people eat different foods or sometimes… none, most of us love celebrating this holiday! More people eat even more different foods like: -
Eastern Europe- red cabbage with bacon and red wine
Classic Potatoes Latkes- regular mashed potatoes that look like hash browns The Middle East-Persians ingredients
- Antipasto di salumi e insaccati-meat platter with mozzarella Some people may eat these because no one may have introduced turkey and dressing to them, or they like their own food. So, let’s all respect their/own thanksgiving beliefs/foods! 3

Baking
BY: Zaria Williams
What’s your favorite thing to bake? I don’t have a favorite, because I love anything that’s sweet. On Thanksgiving people bake all types of deserts. Thanksgiving is Can I here when everyone eats food and gives thanks. To me the most important thing is the food and deserts, because everyone sits down together and eats sweets. Baking is fun. And turns out good in the end if you know what you’re doing. When you bake it is also a good way to get along with family members and bake together. It gives people a chance to tell someone how thankful they are to them. You can bond when you bake. Sometimes you may burn or mess something up, but you shouldn’t give it up. Just try again and even smile and add a little love to what you bake. Baking is helpful because it can help you in the future when you want to give someone a gift that isn’t to expensive. It can be known as a gift, because you thought about them. And it’s homemade. The best thing about baking to me is making the desert with my family. This is why I think that baking is fun and nice. So, when you bake just remember that when you add love and work together you can achieve anything.
