This Car, That Car This car that car Up the street, down the bar They take you far Nothing quite contends With the quality of a Benz Or the force associated With a Porsche A car is a car Whether a BMW or Honda Or a Pagani Zonda It’s a car.

Lyric- Bryson Austin Prince wrote a song with the name purple rain, He wrote it to wash away all of his pain, But little did he know he would gain, The very huge and immense fame, To which he laid claim, And washed away all the shame. As cool the night he was never lame.

What it Really Means a free verse by Deniz Erdag Maybe that's not what it means at all. Maybe it's only a hologram, Much rather an illusion. Maybe it sleeps by my side at night, Disappearing into the shadows during daylight. Maybe that's not it either, But a trick the feeble human mind plays on us. And it rather be too, Rather be a trick than life. The life that can only come with death. Or maybe we are all wrong. Wrong for roaming the surface of the Earth purposeless. Without reason, life, hope. And that's where it all begins. It all begins when the little, immature, yet perfectly flourished flames turns into smoke, Filling the air, In hopes of disappearing forever. Because that's what it really means To live.

Sandcastle Crisis A sandcastle by the sea All built by me Crabs crawling on the shore

Within a few seconds my castle dissolves into the Caribbean Sea My face sits there, with no glee

To them, it’s an eyesore

The bees and crabs could not stand it anymore,

My castle is non existent like the capital of Singapore

H In the air, there is a bee Furious, under the coconut tree The crabs want to take down the tropical sore But the bees want it a little more

Humanity By Hannah Kim We repeat same mistakes We are full of greed We curse people We act like a devil We love each other We spread happiness We sing songs for sad ones We act like an angel What is our ego Good or bad No one knows exactly about himself Because we are humans

Limerick - “Mr. Krabs” In Bikini Bottom lives a crab By Hiromu Givens Who was born in a lab There he sipped on the “M.E.M.E. Drank” Now he is very dank But all he does is dab

Plastic people in a plastic world Perfect boys with perfect girls Slicked back hair and bouncy curls wouldn’t you want to live in my world. Red sports cars and soda pop They’ll never know just how to stop She cheats on him once or twice Then they're back together by the end of the night He hits and screams and gets into fights And they wear clothes that are way too tight Little kids are about to take flight And father teach men how to treat their daughters right So as you see Our community isn't as perfect as its seems

Plastic Imani Baldwin

Lyric by jennifer carter

My love for Athena is so great, my heart melts for her 'til the dusk of day. The night luminous when she's away, beautiful , gracefully 'til day's dawn. Her beauty is great, Wondering mind 'til she sees, loving is all I do, While waiting for the moment, for her to say "I ruse."

Free Verse by Michael Zabiko

The drone flies freely through the air, The drone takes off with immense velocity, The buzzing rings through my ears, As it swings and turns people turn their heads to see, The quiet and soft landing reminds me of peace

From the dripping drops of From the dripping drops rain by Pamela Rodriguez ofrain The dripping drops Drip until the wet rain stops On my small rooftop. The drops drip until It spills on the tiny doorsill. The sun comes; a thrill. The sky surprises The rainbow’s color arises From drips and sun rays.

“No Reason to Hang On

(Free Verse)

By: Raafia Ali

Silently slipping and watching

So she fell.

Painfully ever so, cold hands

And woke up somewhere else.

covered in blood and scars Grasp onto the windowsill

Looking for a reason to let go And so that girl saw him, Looking at someone else and realized she had no reason to be there.

Haiku-Redwood By Robin Eluvathingal

A Gloomy Day Oh I remember that one Gloomy Day I was strolling around the lake And there sits a beautiful lady I want to give her a handshake I bravely walk to her like I would to Tom Brady And say I think you're God’s Mistake By making you so stunning

Puppets No Longer By: Sarah Durand

They yell and they cheat

I’m not okay I don’t care what the people will say They think stupid crap

But we only grow stronger We have strings no longer

So they fall in our trap

They want us to be puppets

They believe us to be unclean But that’s just them being mean But we have strings no longer They tease and they lie They want us to die

Until they think they have us beat

And we’ll only grow stronger So keep pushing us down For soon, we’ll stun this town ‘Cause we aren’t your puppets or slaves That’s a promise we’ll take to our graves

They want to watch us plummet From the rooftops They will watch us drop

Free Verse - Free Flowing A balloon sways in the wind, Free flowing, Tied to nothingness. Free flowing, With nothing holding it back. Free flowing, Swaying in the wind. Without a care, Free flowing‌

SREE Anything - Energy Well since this can be anything including a rap Why wait and take a nap You can break out of that cage Bust out with a lion's rage When we play don’t call me trash Cause next thing you know imma splash.

Just Dance (Lyric Poem) By Swathi Menon

Dance makes you feel free, and it can make you think you’re flying like a bee! Dance can look like an easy thing to do, but if you think that, then you have no clue. Dance can make your heart beat boom boom boom, while the excitement rises in the room!
