Lisa Arnott Jewellery
Lisa Arnott’s Jewellery is made predominantly made from precious metals, enamel, oxidised silver, gold and can include, precious stones and gold leaf. Inspired by everyday urban landscape and the Constructivist art movement of the early 1900’s, Lisa Jewellery aims to evoke a continuing tradition of geometric abstract art that is ‘constructed’ from autonomous visual elements such as space, lines and planes. Through the use of enamel, etching and wire she translates surfaces and geometric spaces found within our urban environments which in turn inspires her final piece of Jewellery. Lisa is Social Engaged design practioner, working with excluded young people to develop their skills in Jewellery design. She is also the director of SilverHub Studios, which is a resource for professional and emerging jewellers in Edinburgh and were she teaches Jewellery design. www.silverhubstudios.com
