500 WORD EVALUATION

As far as this year has gone, I’m glad to say it’s over, I was so excited for this project in particular and now it has kind of all gone pear shaped with lack of concentration and structure. If I could change anything in this project I would redo my photoshoot as I was unable to create the “runway” style of shoot that I wanted instead I just went with photographing the garment the best I could on my own to show you exactly how hard I had worked on creating it. I’ve really tried to make each page I have tried to keep this project mainly as paperwork and hand done work due to the fact, I would like to use this portfolio in years to come as it is some of my favoured work. It’s really encouraged me to look in to a different way of working especially as knit isn’t something that strikes me as something I’d go into with design but after this I would definitely consider it. I can’t exactly say I’ve had the best of years in my personal life; my best friend passed away, a catapult incident that ended with a car windscreen being damaged and one of my friends ending up in hospital, my dad falling sick in October and having an emergency heart operation towards the end of November and him now being a massive liability due to the COVID19 outbreak to the point where I could not move back home for his safety so I now live with my other half and his family, Came back from Venice with a horrific chest infection type illness which may have been mild coronavirus we may never know, I’ve recently been in a car accident of which I was lucky to not have been massively hurt but I cannot say the same for the deer or the my poor car which is no longer with us and now just a couple days before writing this I managed to impale my finger with my sewing machine breaking the bone at the end of it and spending 4 and a half of my precious hours in A&E. But, at the end of it all I will be going on to London College of Fashion and hopefully I can make everyone proud and if not I’m sure I’ll have more stories to feedback to everyone.
