Grounding Techniques To Manage Anxiety


Technique 1 During anxiety the mind goes through a lot of turbulence and there is immense energy in the body. During this time try to focus on your breath. Channelise all that energy you've going on into focusing on your breath. Inhale. Hold on. Exhale. Do that 10-20 times to calm yourself down.


Technique 2. Look around you. When we're anxious our ability to focus on things goes away and we hardly feel productive anymore. During such times bringing our focus back to our senses can help us feel more in control of ourselves.


Technique 3. Here you can experiment with your hobbies. Something that gives you a break, because come on we all deserve a break, and why to wait for it when we can give gift ourselves that at any point. Read. Paint. Play. Spend time with your loved one(s). Do something you love!


Technique 4.

Listening to music REALLY helps! It calms you down, helps you focus, and channelizes your energy rhythmically.
