TOP 5 SAFETY RULES to stay safe around the pool

1. All children under the age of 14 must be supervised by an adult in the pool, hot tub, and baby pool. The adult must be within 20 feet of the child. 2. Only Coast Guard Approved life vests are permitted. Children under the age of 14 with a life vest must be accompanied by an adult in the water. 3. Use age-designated locker rooms. Kids 16 years and older use adult locker rooms, 15 years and younger use youth locker rooms. 4. Double diaper children who are not “potty trained”. This means a swim diaper underneath a rubber reusable swim diaper. 5. Listen to our LIfeguards.

BE PROACTIVE.

Introduce your child to water safety early. Register for swim lessons.

Even Cautious Parents Forget Never leave your “strong swimmer” in one area while watching your “weak” swimmer in another. All children need to be watched. Do not rely on lifeguards to supervise your child. YOU are ultimately responsibly for the safety of you and your children. Drowning is quick and silent. If in doubt, help a child out! For best protection and to keep our water clear, apply sunscreen at least 20 minutes before entering the water.

parent-toddler class Our Parent/Toddler Swim Class is designed for children (6 months to 3 years old) and their parents/grandparents. This group class introduces both parents and toddlers to fun and safe swimming, enhancing your child’s natural affinity for water in a supportive and encouraging environment. Swim diaper AND rubber/reusable diaper pant are required for all children not potty trained. A minimum of 1 and maximum of 2 parent(s)/grandparent(s) will be in the water as participant(s). “We loved the parent toddler class last year. The outdoor pool, knowledgeable teachers, and encouraging toys made it a great first swim introduction for my son. He now loves the pool!” - Amarylla Ganner
