The photographs displayed in this exhibition are inspired by Japan, the country that fascinates me since many years by its beauty, cultural difference, ancient tradition and philosophy . The “Spiritual garden” series represent dry landscape gardens, their graphical aesthetics and spiritual values Through numerous visits to gardens in Kyoto and around Japan I became aware of their mystical roots and tried to replicate their inherent feelings of peace and serenity into my work . Symbolic graphical elements where nature is reduced to its abstract form, incite creativity . To convey the essence of these gardens I applied a reduced colour palette along with superpositions and subtractions as a technical means . The process of assembling these images brings to mind the same inspirational challenges that gardener needs to overcome, when raking the gravel into the patterns inside zen gardens I studied photography/film at ENS Louis Lumière in Paris, participated in numerous group/solo exhibitions in Europe and Asia

For an “artist photographer”, each frame is like a medium between “ego” and “the world spirit” A way to record the transparency of the world and its latent modesty, an struggle between “darkness and light”, “to be and not to be”, “far and close”, “prosperity and demolition” In the meantime I would listen to the song of the world To the whisper of the leaves With reflection on the universe and wonders of the nature, I would be drawn to something very beautiful and brilliant. With passing of the first beam, with the least handshake, I will immortalize a disperse piece of heaven in a marvelous frame. The call of appreciate would arise from my soul First from the universe and then from its kind creatures …

“And this is all life”

For many years, he has tried hard in the area of painting, to achieve self-expression. He was able to make a logical and accurate relation between contemporary painting and the Iranian Miniature Art. He has also been able to give special identity to the presence of miniature at the present time as a historical process in his works . He invites the addressee to accompany him in sightseeing his works, and reminds us that coordination shall exist between the shape and the content of artistic works In his works, there are many horses without riders with brilliant colors, i.e. turquoise, azure, saffron yellow, white and gray, which are moving from left to right and from right to left slowly and which are seen in a ground of cypress trees and birds The horses do not cover each other while passing, but their colors are combined when they reach each other ; and new colors are created at the time of their contact. He takes benefit from combining materials in his works for achieving a proper structure for his expression and finds canvas as the best ground for his artistic expressions

The idea that I hold as the foundation not only of my production but also of my life is that "everything is in moderation and absolute.

When I saw that there is no right or wrong or superior or inferior, positive or negative, I became less miserable with myself and it became easier to live

By accepting all that I feel, I have come to realize that emotions are my response to the world, and I have come to believe that each person perceives and lives in the world through his or her own unique emotions

I believe that emotion is the absolute with which everyone has a world .

This way of thinking is a way of thinking that I learned and acquired to make my life easier, as I have believed since childhood that I am wrong and others are right.

I enjoy being different, and I believe that creating artwork has been a way for me to express this .

A gifted painter, in the purest sense, Natália has skillfully created a body of work that is simultaneously lyrical and mysterious, jubilant yet poetic Employing these paradoxes, she skillfully applies her raw talent into different mediums and styles creating a sense of flux, depth and dominance.

Natália's work takes elemental images, from nature and the landscape to culture and individuals she encounters on her travels, and transforms using dramatic ploys such as contrasts in scale, shifts in focus, mirrored reflections, staccato images, and multiple or layered surfaces .

Sensory perception for Natália is a spiritual activity, one that leads to a heightened awareness of both nature and culture this thought process points to a new kind of realism one that is engaged with the actual processes of life. Yet, it also references the theoretical avant-garde conceptions of deconstruction emerging during Modernism.

The inner and outer voices which are becalmed and silenced

Passing through yet connected, eyes closed . Shot. And yet they are people who put their effort in human understanding and progress

At times with symbols, at times with complicated forms, the untied knots within themselves, searching for the truth within and in the other .

My paintings are an attempt to create a world, where the viewer can find between the layers the mirror image of their inner self. Where the imagination is waiting to be discovered by the spectators .

Non-Seeing series is my reaction to photography within the digital age, photographs now no longer represent the real world, it can be fiction. “Non -Seeing” also challenge the concept of traditional photography, which emphasizes the way of “see” or viewing While digital camera process images that very close to the reality, in fact it is all digital data So I capture images and turn it into impossible, surreal view, to remind audience to be wary of camouflage in images . “Seeing” or “Non-Seeing” can be related to “Exist” or “Not Exist” I am influence by Chinese philosopher Zhuang Zhou, he questioned why the sky is blue in color, I question images and the reality that human eyes can see. There is more data or information hidden, not trying to see might be the way to feel more.

I create “Non-Seeing01, 2023” by imagining Lisbon and its nature, it is my impression of Lisbon overall.

Chicken and eggs are often used to discuss the origin of life and the universe. It symbolizes the source of life, and the eggshell contains the mysteries of all things in the world . It is the beginning and end of human beings . Language and human beings are like the logical relationship between eggs and chickens . We use language to thank, curse, pray, express feelings and so on. In the sense of life, eggs represent chicken eggs in language and also mean female reproductive cells, and are often associated with reproduction. Men and women have sperm and eggs physiologically, while women's eggs can only be released at a specified time, the rest of the time in a state of "aphasia" .
