PROPOSED ROAD CLOSURE

To help guide agritourism use, Council has also created a Rural and Nature-Based Tourism Development Control Plan (DCP).

Section 38b Of Roads Act 1993

Notice is given that Lismore City Council proposes to close part of E.J. OLLEY Road which dissects property known as 1224 Cawongla Road, LARNOOK (being Lot 52 DP1268568).

Upon closure of the road, Council intends to sell the land to the adjoining landowner.

The proposed changes to the LEP and the Rural and Nature-Based Tourism DCP are on exhibition until 15 May on Council’s Your Say website, yoursay.lismore.nsw.gov.au.

Any person can make submission to the Property Officer by 16 May 2023.

Under the provisions of the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009, such submissions may be referred to third parties for consideration. Once the submission period is concluded, Council will consider all submissions and decide on road closure suitability.
