The luxury condo market for Q1 2016 was about even with the last two years. Sales in the $800 thousand to $1 million range were down 8.2% compared to Q1 2015, while months’ of inventory was up 5.7% to 7.9 months. Sales for condos priced at $1 million and higher decreased by 6.4% compared to last year at this time. The 44 closed sales may not have matched last year’s 47 sales, but it was still a nice increase over the 36 sales from the first quarter of 2014. Months’ of inventory increased to 21.3, an increase of 57.2% compared to Q1 2015.
