The Company History In 1924 two brothers, Mario and Carlo, founded Lanificio Fratelli Ormezzano in Valle Mosso.

They had a clear aim in their mind: manufacturing pure wool fine fabrics for menswear employing combed wools only, however, in an innovative way. As a matter of fact, whilst all the competitors produced exclusively plain fabrics, they introduced the new concept of fancy fabrics, thus creating an original interpretation of men’s suits.

In 1973 LaniďŹ cio Fratelli Ormezzano started producing linen fabrics and, shortly after, added cotton to its range. It was an important turning point. The new products went hand in hand with the traditional ones and projected the company towards the world of innovation. From that year onwards, the collections have been radically renewed every season thanks to constant research. All over the world customers identify LaniďŹ cio Fratelli Ormezzano precisely for this feature : all its collections include novelties, a wide range of typologies, new colours and blends.

Ideas and Products Its collections are always interesting and the company service satisfies the customer’s expectations, as the modern rules of customer satisfaction impose.

Nowadays, the new Ormezzano generation (Massimo, Alessandro’s son, and Alessandra, Maurizio’s daughter) is enthusiastically and seriously committed to this creative project.

No matter which raw material is used, Ormezzano’s fabrics are top quality products : the ranges offer a wide cloth selection : linen and hemp, plain and fancy cotton, either fine or rustic wools, new cotton and cashmere velvets, the most innovative blends and handles.
