Ancient Greek drama workshop and Epidaurus visit Art in the Old Olive Press gives you the opportunity to live… your ancient Greek drama on the grounds where it was born. Explore the world of theatre, ancient Greece and last but not least your own expressive possibilities in a 3-day theatre workshop on ancient Greek drama on Poros. The programme includes two three-hour workshops on elements of theory and a lot of improvisation and a visit to the ancient theatre of Epidaurus so that you can test your newly learnt skills!
The workshop is led by Maria Nomikou, theatrologist, experienced trainer and stage manager on several high profile theatre productions for the theatre of Epidaurus and important theatre venues in Athens. Maria will take you through the labyrinths of ancient Greek theatre leading to the ancient altar “Thimeli” of the Epidaurus so that you can pay tribute to the great actors that gave their best performances on these holy grounds.
The cost of the workshop is 35 euros for groups of minimum 10 people. Alternatively, you may miss out on the workshop and pay just 25 euros for only the Epidaurus visit (for groups of minimum 10 people).
