Our training opportunities can also be useful for teachers, workshop leaders, support workers and therapists. This season we’re especially excited for our international guests - Le Théâtre de la Pire Espèce (Quebec) and Margarita Blush (USA). We hope you find something to interest you and look forward to seeing you at Little Angel soon.

MAKING YOURSELF HEARD
MICRO CINEMA THEATRE
Voice training and presentation workshop for women with Clare Kissane
Video camera and visual theatre workshop with Gavin Glover
Whether chairing a meeting, presenting to an audience, pitching ideas or networking in a social gathering, sometimes women find it difficult to make themselves heard. Anxiety and nerves can cause tension in the larynx, creating a change in pitch.
A three day practical and very collaborative workshop with leading puppeteer Gavin Glover. Suitable for all theatre practitioners and technophobes who would like to explore and incorporate live video with performance on stage.
This workshop, led by specialist voice coach Clare Kissane, will give you a set of tools which will help you to find and free your natural voice, giving it resonance, clarity and confidence. Wed 10 October 10am-5pm £50/40 concessions. Location: Studios
By using tiny video cameras we can explore everyday objects and textures and even use the human body to discover a new type of micro cinema.
Sun 14 - Tues 16 October 10am-6pm £195/£180 concessions. Location: Studios

PUPPET CONSTRUCTION COURSE DOG PUPPET With Peter O'Rourke
This workshop is suitable for anyone who works with children or young people and wants to learn how to make a variety of shadow puppets.
This crash course for total beginners assists you in discovering the essential skills needed to bring puppets and objects alive with movement and emotion. The session will include learning about puppet life, breath and focus.
Contemporary Puppetry is a practical class that explores techniques for the animation of 2-3 person puppets (aka Bunraku).
An entertaining and comprehensive introduction to the art of the puppeteer.
A perfect course for puppeteers and theatre performers who want to get their heads around working as a team on one puppet.
During this week-long course students will learn how to build a simple, strong dog puppet mechanism, copying from a prototype. Designed for a single operator with rods from above, the prototype will be a smaller than lifesize dog, with some internal movement in the body and neck, a nodding head and a moving mouth.
