Welcome to Little Angel Theatre. This season is full of puppetry shows and activities perfect for you and your family. We have two fantastic Little Angel Theatre productions for you to enjoy, a revival of the much loved and critically acclaimed Dogs Don’t Do Ballet, by Anna Kemp for ages 2-7, and Red Riding Hood and the Wolf by Jon Barton, a brand new show for everyone over 5 years old (that includes you!). Red Riding Hood and the Wolf is an innovative spin on a classic fairy story where the villain isn’t quite who you thought. Bringing the best of the UK’s puppetry right to your doorstep, we have invited a vibrant selection of theatre companies to perform at our theatre and studios. As well as that, there will be three shows for babies – Sponge, Aleena’s Garden and Twinkle Twinkle. You can even enjoy our brand new morning sessions for parents and their babies, called Tiny Tots. I do hope to see you at the theatre soon – whatever you are coming to see, you will be in for a treat.

RED RIDING HOOD AND THE WOLF 27 APRIL– 16 JULY 2017

By Jon Barton A Little Angel Theatre production Here is where our story starts A gentle wolf with a broken heart… You may think you know the story of Red Riding Hood, sugar and spice and all things nice. But there are two sides to every story, so let’s hear it from the Wolf himself! Here’s the story never heard of a kind and hungry wolf who strayed from the path and lost his friends. This wolf isn’t big or even bad, in fact he’s rather shy. He won’t gobble up your grandma or tell you lies. He’s polite and very gentle, he’s an all-round nice guy. So before you make up your mind about the wolf you think you know so well, enjoy a whole new spin on this fairy tale and remember to never judge anyone by how they look.
