Some tried to solve the problem of rapid expansion of big cities through new urban patterns. Some give the possibility of future markets based on old community studies. Some used traditional street patterns to break the single closure of urban complexes, the combination of Chinese and western structures to create new structure types, and the exploration of the double-sided function of single buildings.

Arch
ć‹ą The combination of Chinese structural carpentry and cross vault
It is a design training program about structure. The design task was to build a small railway station near mountain Qingcheng in chengdu city, sichuan province, China. Mountain Qingcheng is famous for its Taoist birthplace, so the whole mountain has a very strong religious atmosphere. In addition, the damp climate makes the plants flourish. Seeing all this, I just got two words - "holy and beautiful". So I put my feelings in the design by using Chinese wood and cross arch, which is the most characteristic in western religious architectures.

Looking at the luxuriant trees and looming Taoist temples in the site, I could only think of two words ——"Holy and beautiful". Religious atmosphere was holy, and the vitality of plants were beautiful. I used the traditional Chinese wood as the shape of the new architecture, and used the cross arch, which is the most significant characteristic of religious architectures, as the bearing structure. There is no western-style or Chinese traditional architecture in the site, and there is no modernist or classical architecture in the site. I broke the stereotype of Chinese and western architectures. What I had done was to simply convey a feeling——"Holy and beautiful". (The photo is from Internet.)
Site Analysis Keyword: Taoism Taoism is China's indigenous religion. The base of this design, mountain Qingcheng, is one of the birthplace of Taoism. There are ancient Taoist buildings, large Numbers of Taoist priests and believers. Daoism advocates "natural harmony". Plenty of the Taoist architecture is made of logs, untrimmed pieces of wood. In addition, daoism believes that "all things have aura", so qingcheng mountain is particularly lively. It's a sacred and beautiful place anyway.
草图 / Sketch My idea is to add wooden structure to the arch. The cross arch is the main load-bearing structure. Wood is the shape of the building. In addition, the cross arch forms a space with mystery.
Keyword: Plants As the climate is humid and the temperature is favorable, the plants of the mountain Qingcheng grow very well. It seems that the plants of mountain Qingcheng are more luxuriant than those elsewhere. Lush plants make this area very viable.
Keyword: Woods Tall trees can be seen everywhere in mountain Qingcheng, which are the most distinctive building material here.
STEP 1. Arch+Beam +Connecting Struts
Keyword: Farm Because in the rural area, there are a lot of farmland in Qingcheng mountain area. As a result, the rural tourism is gradually rising here. Living a leisurely life, people escape from modern city and the boring life.
Keyword: Mountain Qingcheng Qingcheng mountain is very famous in sichuan province. Many people in the city like to travel here on holidays or weekends by trains. The most original station users are tourists.
STEP 2. Arch+beam+connecting struts + Roof Panels+ Purline
Keyword: Former station Keyword: Frog The climate in site is very humid. The rainy weather makes it wet here. When the temperature is not high, there is often a great fog on the mountain, which makes the whole mountain seem hazy. It's like being in a wonderland.

The original building was temporarily built, which is very simple, with only the main waiting space. There are also serious problems with the leaking in the original building.

The structure of the building is built of wood as a loadbearing structure, which ends with purline and roof panels on top. The main material of the building is wood. But the steel structure is adopted at the joints of the parts. With a steel sheet, the screws connect the parts together. Each group of arches has two thick arches and three fine arches. The arch is fixed by a metal base at the bottom and the metal base protects the wood. Each floor is supported by a load-bearing wall and a fine column.

breaking cages Bring the city into high-rise buildings
Aimed at the existing problems in high-rise buildings, we studied the traditional Chinese streets in Chengdu, which is also the site of our design program, and made use of the existing technology and materials, tried to re-establish a new street space in the venue. We used different methods to handle current issues. For instance, the "changeable space", "small scale", "street furniture" and "the use of street space" and so on. At the same time, we carried out the same transformation of the existing old buildings in the site. Overall, our design take the street space as the designing main line, making the original reserved buildings, high-rise buildings and podium into a whole.

In order to pursue the construction efficiency and meet the functional requirements, after entering the industrial society, the "internationalism" style and the skyscrapers are flourishing. On one hand, high-rise buildings are isolated in the city. Staying inside the high-rise buildings, people cannot communicate with the outside. On the other hand, for humans, high-rise buildings seem to be synonymous with "cold workplaces". The monotonous building style and homogeneous space bring negative emotions to people. They may not have any sense of feelings and belonging to these huge, homogeneous and monotonous high-rise buildings. 18

Through our analysis of traditional Chinese streets, we have learned that the most representative characteristics of the traditional small-scale blocks are the differences between the public and private space. The change of space makes the block more abundant. So I took advantage of that in my design. From the bottom up, the more difficult to get to, the more privacy of the space.

Wu Liangyong, proposed through the "urban organic update" : “From the city to the building, from the whole to the part, all of them should be as organic as the organism, and live in harmony. ” Therefore, in our proposal, we “bring” small scale space and urban street “into” high-rise buildings. From outside to inside, from bottom to top, from plane direction to vertical direction, high-rise buildings are opened. In addition, the traditional style of high-rise building focusing on core tube will be changed into a one taking "complex and varied street space" as the leading point, which makes the high-rise buildings are different in each layer, thus breaking boring space brought by the homogenization.

A block of wood or stone on the Chinese block
It's a very complicated but very interesting project. At the early stage of the project, I participated in the mapping workshop, and conducted experiments on the base. I test the creativity and vitality of people here by investing in new items and tracking them secretly. I have also selected the most representative item——Dunzi, which is made by the local people and used in many occasions to study. I have recorded the distribution and usage of Dunzi, and analyzed its material, source and nature. Through these, I put the new model , which is easy to make, into the field. Therefore the local can design it according to their needs.

They held up umbrellas in the morning, and use concrete, baskets, wood, wood boards, and many other items that were often seen in their lives to built their stalls. In the evening, they leave. Another vendors in cao's lane are local residents. Most of them are retired workers at the cement factory, so they have a strong ability to built. It's easy to find transformed chairs, dishes, tables, and baskets in Caojia lane. They even used broken electric poles as garbage cans.
Worker Village No.1 market It's a small market. Traders often shop in it.They use trailers to transport the goods here in the morning, and make up a lot of space for selling them with mops and baskets.
Booth The booths are made of wood, boards and bricks. Most are built by local residents. They move the goods in the day and take them away at night.
Cutting board The cutting board is also called “Dunzi” in local language. Most of them are made of wood piles, and used for cutting meat.
Platform The platform, which people can put stove or basket on it, is transformed from some abandoned hollow bricks. It was found to be a furniture used as a substitute for tables.
Shops Local residents used bricks and cement to build shops near the residential buildings.
Worker Village No.2 market It's a big market, which can accommodate more people than market one.Itinerant traders often shop in it. They use trailers to transport the goods in the morning, and make up a lot of space for selling them with mops and baskets.

Introduction of Dunzi
In Chinese, Dunzi refers to a kind of round table or stone made of wood or cement. Dunzi is a typical item in cao's lane. For example, local residents pour the cement in bucket and then insert the umbrella pole, which is the foundation of sunshade. They put bricks together and form stone tables and stool to form social Spaces. In sichuan dialect, "Dunzi" refers to the cutting board. Dunzi is also used here as a special device -- a barricade that can be used to block dirt, water, and shelter, which means it can separate space.

Stalls Farmers and businessmen like to choose this way. They held up umbrellas in the morning, and use concrete, baskets, wood, wood boards, and many other items that were often seen in their lives to built their stalls. In the evening, they leave.
Device
Through research, we found that Dunzi were mainly used here as a structural basis, street furniture and public installations. When used as the basis of the structure, the dunzi and sunshade forms commercial space. When used as a public device, Dunzi can be divided into space.

Classification and Reuse of Spaces
Classification of spaces: After summing up the use of Dunzi, I analyzed the nature of the space formed by Dunzi and other street furniture.I mainly analyze the behavior of people in this space. Since the users of cao's lane were mainly foreign traders and local residents, I compared the differences between the two. By contrast, I have divided the commercial space into temporary one and permanent one.

After analyzing the different use properties of Dunzi, I divided the space into four categories -- temporary stalls, permanent stores, social spaces and road devices. The using range of every space in the plane is about 9 ㎡ -16 ㎡ , which is about 3m x 4m.I rebuilt the basic model of the new building according to this scale. Moreover, I distributed the new buildings in the field according to the distribution of the obtained properties.

After completing the design work, the construction process will no longer be entirely given to the construction contractor. The pillars are made of wood. The boards are processed in accordance with the size provided.Linoleum and plastic cloth can be purchased easily in the market. So the whole construction process will not be difficult for the residentsherefore, this project will no longer be an architect's "self-talk", but actually grow in the field according to the needs of the residents. 48

It is a design program about "Nostalgia" and "Bibliotheca". This project mainly analyzes the relationship between personal homesickness and architecture. Different life experiences have different emotions. Different emotions produce different libraries. The training of this project is to refine the purity of architecture. Designed by emotional guidance, it will be the most unique library, the library in my dream. Therefore, I designed a public library with a double shell structure to hide a secret passage for me to peep the public. It is not only a public library, but also a secret building for myself.

1.What does nostalgia mean to me ?
“When I was a child, my family often changed the place where we lived.“
“I tried to blend into other people's lives, but I failed. I’m the newcomer in my hometown.“
“When I was a child, my family often changed the place where we lived.“
People often say that hometown is a place where you belong. But I'm not. For me, nostalgia is a lonely feeling. The memory of my hometown is lonely and uneasy in my mind. I don't know how to describe it exactly, but it seems like that there is a wall between the outside world and me. I can't cross it. I, staying in my only world, observe the outside without disturbing. As I said, I am not a "homesick" person. It seems like I'm a stranger in my hometown, which make me get used to be a observer.
2.What does Bibliotheca mean to me ?
A public library is like a miniature of a city. It has people from all walks of life. In the public library, reading is not the only purpose.
Now, libraries have more and more functions, which are no longer a mere reading space. The library began to be a concentration of different people. It has people from all walks of life. There are successful people who will give lectures here, and a lot of sales writers. A weekly section of art exhibition will be holden in libraries. In winter or summer, elderly people who don't want to spend money on air conditioners even come in to kill time. Therefore, library is now more of a social space than a bibliotheca.

With the previous analysis (public library and bystander), the first step is to determine the basic theme of design - "Seeing and been seen". In a word, "I can observe the public secretly". From this point of view, the second step is to identify the four basic patterns (a.) that I have summarized. After studying these modes, I designed more forms (b.). B-1: Each reading space is a cubicle. The observer travels through the crossroad. B-2: Each reading space is a cubicle. The observer walks on the overhead bridge. B-3: The reading space is inside the building. The observer watch from the opposite tower. B-4: The reading space is the big space in the middle. The observer observes in the crack. B-5: The reading space is the big space in the middle. The observer observes in the crack. B-6: he reading space is each delimited space. The observer observes in the crack.

One of the favorite forms in European churches is double shell structure. The secret passage between the outer wall and the interior wall makes it hard to be found out. There are all kinds of people in the church. The mysterious bell ringman can hid in the crack and saw what happened .

Architecture has a huge impact on society, economy, history and culture. The study of architecture is also the study of influences beyond architecture. Some projects aim to revitalize the cultural plaza of Roman history by preserving and reconstructing the site. Some projects hope to generate new production and management models through structural changes. Some projects use the redrawing of city corners to awaken people's self-cognition.Some projects propose to involve the public in the construction of cities by means of entertainment. Some projects try to combine a new concept of housing to improve the housing crisis for young people.

06 罗马秀 / show of rome history Plenty of architectures from different eras were being constructed in this site in the past decades. It should have been an attractive historic landmark due to its special history and background. However, because of imappropriate planning, traffic jams and congestion has been a serious problem. Besides, the historical building is ruined owing to no repairment. Regarding city revival and protection as the starting point, we maintained former buildings and remoulded the destroyed one. Using VR technology, the scene of ancient Rome city can be seen. Besides, stereoscopic separation type of transportation is used to solve the traffic issues and enable the separation of people and vehicles. This system with a overline bridge could provide adequate parking space as well as a link between two divided plazzas.

Pizza Giuditta Tavani Arquati could serve as a perfect case study for such exploration. It is located in Trastevere,on the west bank of Tiber, south of Vatican,a district that owes its characteristic to its narrow cobbled streets lined by an ancient houses, and which has attracted in time artists, foreign expats, famous people all co existing with locals creating this unique image of a multi-ethnic,dynamic area.Exactly in the heart of outstanding Trastevere and few meters far from the lsola Tiberina, the Piazza Giuditta is a different voice in the whole process of the development of the district. The unbuilt lots represent a gap in the urban fabric;a place that is more characterized by the invasive presence of parking and less by a specific character inside the dense traditional tissue of Trastevere. The evolution of the distract in time has created a condition of an unpleasant environment, strict and difficult to re occupy. This fact for us could create an opportunity for experiments and visualization of the special condition.
Solution:
Regarding city revival and protection as the starting point, we maintained former buildings and remoulded the destroyed one. Using VR technology, the scene of ancient Rome city can be seen. Besides, stereoscopic separation type of transportation is used to solve the traffic issues and enable the separation of people and vehicles. This system with a overline bridge could provide adequate parking space as well as a link between two divided plazzas.
3.THE BASIC CONDITION OF THE SITE
Using VR technology, people can learn about Roman architecture and life 360 degrees through the ramps of historic buildings. The elevated pedestrian walkway gives the public a place to relax and exercise.
During the day it can provide nonmotorized park ing Spaces and perform for buskers. In the evening, people can use the open space as an outdoor theater.
The three-dimensional transpor tation system can diver t people and cars. The viaduct has freed up the space for pedestrian activities on the ground, and the space under the elevated frame can be used as a vehicle parking space.
The outdoor small square gives the street shop a space for outdoor business. It can activate streets and improve street life.

Based on the concept of digital construction, the project intends to build with the data of human body. The human-computer model hopes to build a wall of plants along the border between Tokyo's two districts. In the traditional digital construction, the tools of construction are mechanical arms, so that people have no sense of participation in the construction process and no sense of belonging to the building. But when people become part of the construction process and even use their senses as building tools, architecture becomes a meaningful product.
Tokyo has a serious aging problem and consumes a lot of diapers every year.We take a substance out of diapers that stores water efficiently, and it can be used to grow plants. Different plants need different amounts of water. When water balloons containing seeds of different plants are hit across the river, new plants grow, turning the riverbank into a beautiful green belt.
