DESIGN CONCEPT Living- Adding riverside pedestrian, playground, leisure area, space for activities/ sports. Creating a place "Usercentered design".Create space by human behavior, in the meantime, space control people activities. Ecology- Increasing botanical garden, wildlife habitat, wetland, rain garden.Build a harmony atmosphere between human development and natural. Production- Creating more community kitchen gardens, let residents enjoy in self-sufficiency life style, meantime, it could communication to each other increasing ralationship of others. Most impoatant, grow fruit and tree will attract more wildlife come this area, which improve local bio-diversity.
ISSUE OF SITE 1. Do not have good access, surrounding are 3-5 metres wall and just one entrance of site. 2. Lack of maintain heritage, historical building. 3. Waterfront do not have point to attract people come. 4. Lack of wildlife and vegetation, not ecology at all.
DESIGN STRATEGY 1. High buildings obstruct people’s view to see the riverside, so I change it to lower building. And I organize most of building behind to give more waterfront space for people’s activities. 2 car parking eco building located near to entrances. 2. To solve the access problem, I add 2 entrances 3. Use vegetation and spatial strategy create different function space for diversity group of people. Tree array, groves, avenue, courtyard, wetland, new naturalism planting design provide various experiences for user. In my design, I want create this site to be a more sustainable place, which combine living, ecology and production together. Make convoys wharf like a modern naturalism landscape, put a community into a park. The brief of my concept is much more to do in front of Olympia building and Waterfront Park.
LOCAL RESIDENTS ANALYSIS From survey and analysis we could know Deptford is a diversity place, people who live here has big gap. Provide harmonious activity space for the community which consists of old and young, diversity ethnic group, wealthy and poor was very important for this design.

THE GROVES CAMPUS DESIGN SHEFFIELD/UK INTEGRATED LANDSCAPE DESIGN GROUP WORK INTRODUCTION The University of Sheffield central ‘campus’ is part of the City of Sheffield but also is potentially constituted as the realm of a distinguished academic institution. However, after many years of neglect due to a lack of clear strategy and understanding of the (potential of) landscape and limited political and economic commitment, the campus urban public realm is in ver y poor health: culturally and ecologically, and is in urgent need of renewal. The challenge of this integrated project is to design a section of the city campus and public realm to meet both the needs and aspirations of the University and its community, and at the same time to contribute significantly to the city’s local populations including residents.
SOCIALLY RESTORATIVE PROJECT LEEDS/UK URBAN LANDSCAPE DESIGN GROUP WORK INTRODUCTION This urban landscape design project aims to explore part of Leeds city undergoing intensive regeneration and develop design solutions that contribute to this ongoing process. This project approached this from human perspective and asked how processes of regeneration and design can bring about urban places capable of sustaining fulfilled human lives. This project is based on the theroy of "Experiential Landscape" and "Socially Restorative Urbanism" of Kevin Thwaites.
