Agency staff help raise charity cash
S
TAFF from Jones & Chapman in Wirral were among those who took part in a recent Sequence UK estate agency network fundraising event for CLIC Sargent, a charity which supports children and young people with cancer.
The event saw staff from across Sequence’s North division branches take part in a five-a-side football tournament, which raised £800 for the charity. Sequence mortgage services director Steven Pearson, who organised the day, said: “We’re delighted to have held this event for the third year running. “Everyone had a wonderful time, and we continue to raise
money for CLIC Sargent, which is a very worthy cause.” Claire Shovelton, area fundraising manager for CLIC Sargent, added: “Sequence has helped raise a fantastic amount with this event over the past three years, and it will continue to make a real difference. “For example, it could pay for accommodation for a family at one of CLIC Sargent’s eight Homes from Home across the UK for more than three weeks. Here they can stay together within walking distance of the hospital where their child is being treated, which is often many miles from their own home. Thank you to everyone at Jones & Chapman in Wirral and the Sequence Group.”
