‘WONDERFUL. BOURNE’S GOTHIC RE-WRITE. BEGUILING AND TRUE’ THE GUARDIAN

Matthew Bourne’s dazzling production of Sleeping Beauty has won the hearts of thousands and smashed box office records across the UK and the USA since its premiere. New Adventures have revived this new classic in the repertoire to give audiences one more chance to see the final piece in the trio of Tchaikovsky masterpieces. If you loved Nutcracker! and the famous Swan Lake with a menacing all-male ensemble, this production will hopefully become another firm favourite. With sumptuous sets and costumes, evocative lighting and masterly storytelling you will be transported in time from the halcyon days of the late Edwardian era through to the modern day. In a world full of magic, fairies, vampires, love and romance, all bought to life by our uniquely talented dancers - will Princess Aurora ever find her true love again?

The Mousetrap is famous around the world for being the longest running show of any kind in the history of theatre, with over 25,000 performances. This record-breaking 60th anniversary production is back by popular demand in 2016 starring Louise Jameson (Doctor Who, EastEnders, Doc Martin) as Mrs Boyle. The scene is set when a group of people gathered in a country house cut off by the snow discover, to their horror, that there is a murderer in their midst. Who can it be? One by one the suspicious characters reveal their sordid pasts until at the last, nerveshredding moment the identity and the motive are finally revealed. In her own inimitable style, Dame Agatha Christie has created an atmosphere of shuddering suspense and a brilliantly intricate plot where murder lurks around every corner. www.MousetrapOnTour.com
