PERFORMED BY THE RUSSIAN STATE BALLET OF SIBERIA ACCOMPANIED BY THE ORCHESTRA OF THE RUSSIAN STATE BALLET Giselle: The most poignant of all classical ballets is filled with dramatic passion in a chilling and heart-rending tale of love, treachery and forgiveness from beyond the grave. The moving story of delicate Giselle and her aristocratic but duplicitous lover Albrecht is set to a glorious score. From the visual splendour of the rustic villagers happily gathering the harvest at the start of the story to the eerie moonlit forest haunted by beautifully drifting spirits, this production is unforgettable. Swan Lake: The greatest romantic ballet of all time is brought to life by Tchaikovsky’s haunting and melodic score. From the impressive splendour of the Palace ballroom to the moon-lit lake where swans glide in perfect formation, this compelling tale of tragic romance has it all. From Odile, the temptress in black tulle as she seduces the Prince by spinning with captivating precision to the spellbound purity of the swan queen, Odette as she flutters with emotional intensity, the dual role of Odette/Odile is one of ballet’s most unmissable technical challenges.

It’s 1985. Hair is huge, greed is good and rock-star wannabe Robbie Hart (Jon Robyns: Avenue Q, Legally Blonde) is New Jersey’s favourite wedding singer. When his own fiancée dumps him at the altar a seriously bummed out Robbie makes every wedding as disastrous as his own.

Can sweet natured Julia, (Cassie Compton: X Factor ) and her best friend Holly (Roxanne Pallett: Emmerdale, Waterloo Road) lure Robbie out of the dumpster and back into the limelight? Or is he going to see her head off down the aisle with Wall Street bad boy Glenn (Ray Quinn: X Factor, Dancing On Ice)? Only Grandma Rosie (Ruth Madoc: Hi-De-Hi!, Little Britain) seems to be able to see that Robbie and Julia are the couple that are meant to be. Don’t miss your chance to join the party of the year – with a musical that promises to get you up dancing faster than your Dad at a wedding, packed with songs which capture all the fun and energy of the Adam Sandler smash hit film.

Georges and the dazzling drag artiste Albin, star of La Cage aux Folles, live an idyllic existence in the heart of St Tropez. But behind the curtains of this sparkling extravaganza, all may be about to change. Georges’ son Jean-Michel announces his engagement to the daughter of a notorious right-wing politician determined to close down the local colourful night-life. Drama and hilarity ensue when a meeting of the parents forces them to cover up their vibrant lifestyle. Will Albin be able to play the role of his life to ensure that Jean-Michel can marry his love? Bill Kenwright presents a spectacular new version of the much loved musical with West End star John Partridge as Albin and Broadway leading man Adrian Zmed as Georges. John’s extensive theatre credits boast the West End productions of A Chorus Line at the London Palladium, Cats, Starlight Express and Chicago, but perhaps he is best known for playing the loveable Christian in BBC’s EastEnders and as a judge on TV’s Over The Rainbow. Adrian’s Broadway credits include Blood Brothers, Grease and Falsettos and on television he is best loved as Officer Vince Romano in the hit TV show T.J. Hooker and on the big screen as Johnny in Grease 2. The show-stopping score includes The Best of Times, Song on the Sand and I Am What I Am. | 34 |
