Livestock Risk Protection (LRP)

This new & exciting subsidized coverage option o ers protection against unexpected future declines in the market value of cattle and swine. Coverage is available for Feeder Cattle, Fat Cattle, Swine and Unborn Livestock as long as the livestock are born before the SCE end date. Unborn Livestock De nition: Livestock not born on the e ective date but expected to be marketed before the end date.

Livestock Speci ed Perils, Livestock Herd Coverage

This policy option provides coverage for losses caused by death or humane destruction of livestock as a result of a speci ed peril. Coverage is for both owned and non-owned livestock in your care, custody and control.

Perils Covered: re • lightning • explosion or smoke • windstorm, hail or tornado • smothering by blizzard or snowstorm • collision with vehicles, aircraft of falling objects • riot, civil commotion or vandalism • earthquake or volcanic eruption • ood, drowning, mudslide or tidal waves • accidental shooting • electrocution • attack by wild dogs or animals • collapse of buildings, barns, bridges or culverts • sinkhole collapse • hypothermia due to precipitation • leakage of gas or anhydrous ammonia • contaminated feed or water.

Rainfall pasture, Rangeland and Forage (PRF)

Covers pasture, rangeland, or forage for perennial haying and/or grazing purposes. It was designed to help protect a producer’s operation from the risks of forage loss due to the lack of precipitation.
