Welcome from the Transcon Team! Welcome one and all to the first annual Bridge City Bull and Female Sale. Transcon is very proud and happy to be asked to manage this new sale. Many of you know that the consignors in this sale have all sold in the Transcons Advantage Bull Sale in past years. These consignors are not newbies, they have had years of success putting bulls and heifers into breeding programs across Canada and North America. It is as simple as this… farms grow and every one of these consignors had more bulls to sell than they took to the sale the last couple years. This also gave their friends and fellow past consignors room to expand. The four consignors of the Bridge City Bull and Female Sale are very excited and proud about this new sale, rightfully so. Look forward to a strong group of bulls that can improve the calf crop of any cattleman. A wide range of bulls are on offer, from calving ease to power bulls whose calves are bound to crush the scales come fall. There will be Red, Black and Fullbloods to help fill your shopping list. 60 bulls will walk through the ring at the Saskatoon Livestock Sales facility on March 6th. We invite you to come see the bulls prior to sale day as they will be on display or make plans to visit any of the consignor’s farms earlier. Don’t forget to check out the broody females that will be on the sale card. Since this is the first annual sale, the consignors wanted to make it extra special. This year we have on offer 19 bulls which includes 13 red, 4 black & 2 full fleckvieh fullbloods for your appraisal. POLLED It’s been said many times before when a bull calf is born, they just have “the look”. Well, this guy definitely has it. He is one of the most powerful bulls I have raised to date. He is one of those bulls that checks all the boxes, big foot, large testicles, huge top, massive middle with plenty of length. He was my heaviest at weaning and hasn’t slowed down one bit as he has the highest rate of gain since weaning. Hellz Bellz is out of a beautiful uddered Pol Rocket cow and my walking herd sire SAT Copycat (Bravo son) who’s calves have always done very well for me. Dark red, two wrap around goggles and a temperament like a puppy. There’s not much you can pick apart about him. Looking forward to seeing what he can bring to his new owner’s program.

Well I believe this guy will be the sleeper of the whole sale as his dam surprised me one cold -30 night and had him outside. I was there shortly after he was born but sadly his ears did have some damage already, that being said “Mucho” (girls named him at birth) is an absolute stud, he packs a ton of volume, width and natural thickness in a built low to the ground frame. His dam 10B has had a bull in a sale offering every year except her first as she had her only heifer calf. Mucho is a character and loves to be around people and is quiet as they come.

Well, there’s a bit of a story behind this guy and wasn’t sure I was going to put him in the sale because there was a bit of a “whoopsie” and he is the result of a teenage pregnancy. This guy never seemed to stop growing and he has been a great bull since day one. His dam is as fertile as can be as she already has a beautiful Passport heifer at side. He will sell with no papers but don’t let that scare you off as proof is in the bull, he is flat out great and will cover more cows as he is an extra age bull.

Terms and Conditions

TERMS - The terms of the sale are cash, cheque, VISA, Mastercard, or Interac, payable at par at sale location. There will be a 3% administration fee on all VISA or Mastercard purchases applied to the buyer’s invoice. The right of property shall not pass until after settlement is made. Transcon Livestock Corp. reserves the right to require a certified cheque as settlement before releasing any sale cattle.Should any purchaser fail to settle for his purchase Transcon Livestock Corp. reserves full power to resell the animal to the best advantage either publicly or privately, without further notice. Any loss arising from such resale together with keep and all other expenses shall be payable by the defaulter. All settlements must be made with the clerks of the sale before any cattle will be released. BID - Every animal consigned to the sale must be sold by auction. No private sales will be allowed except as otherwise provided for in the terms and conditions. No by-bidding will be permitted. Each animal will be sold to the highest bidder. SALES TAXES – Applicable sales taxes will be charged on semen, embryos and trucking fees (if listed), respective to the home province of the buyer, not the seller. DISPUTES - In cases of disputes, bidding will be reopened between the parties involved. If no further bid is made the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer’s decision in such matters will be final. PURCHASER’S RISK - Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold. Animals will be cared for at the purchaser’s risk for a reasonable length of time. INFORMATION SUPPLIED - The information contained in this catalog is believed to be true and accurate. However, the information has been supplied by the seller and neither Transcon Livestock Corp. or Livestock Media Plus assume any responsibility if the information supplied is not accurate. CATTLE PICTURES - The images in this catalog are believed to be accurate representations of the individual animals. Transcon Livestock Corp. and Jamesway Enterprises Ltd. assume no responsibility if the images as received have been altered. ANNOUNCEMENTS from the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalog. Buyers are therefore cautioned to pay attention to any such announcements. CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRY - A registration/recordation certificate issued by the applicable breed association and duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer of each animal after settlement has been made. It is the responsibility of the buyer to determine the acceptance of this certificate in any other association. SHIPPING - Assistance will be given in making shipment after the sale but no risk is assumed by the Sales Management or Seller. Expenses incurred are the responsibility of the purchaser. Purchasers are requested to furnish shipping instructions when making settlement. BREEDERS GUARANTEE - As per applicable Canadian Breed Association Breeding Guarantee guidelines. Copies are available at the sale settlement desk to be picked up by the buyer at any time. In no event shall the seller be responsible for reimbursing more than the purchase price. EXCEPTION TO GUARANTEE - In cases where the animal is subjected to any hormonal or surgical reproduction techniques after the sale, the guarantee shall be null and void. HEALTH - It is the buyer’s responsibility to determine health requirements for importing any animal into his province or state. Transcon Livestock Corp. assumes no responsibility for the health status of any animal in the sale. ACCIDENTS - Although every precaution will be taken to protect the safety and comfort of buyers, neither the Sales Management, auctioneer, consignors. or Association assumes any responsibility in this matter and disclaims any liability legal or otherwise in the event of accident or loss of property. RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS - The above terms and conditions of the sale shall constitute a contract between the buyer and the seller and be equally binding to both. Resale of animals following purchase in this sale shall constitute a separate transaction and the rights and obligations of the two parties connected thereto are not covered by the terms and conditions of this sale. TRANSCON LIVESTOCK CORP. IS AGENT ONLY - It is to be clearly understood that Transcon Livestock Corp. is only acting as a medium between buyer and seller and is not in any way responsible for any failure on the part of either party to live up to his obligations, neither does Transcon Livestock Corp. assume any financial obligations to collect or enforce collection of any monies between parties, and any legal action that may, in exceptional cases, be taken, must be between buyer and seller. The Auctioneer shall have the right to refuse bids from anyone who has a previous record of default in payment or who has not made proper credit clearance prior to the sale with the owner or Sale Managers.
