Each season has its anticipation, and Fall is the time we purebred breeders give stock to our programs – which genetics worked? Which did not? Then we start to thumb through all the female sale catalogues searching for that genetic package that will make a difference in our program. What do we need to compliment our bull battery? Are we looking for a source of females or our next herd sires mother? Do we need to change our frame score? Do we need more thickness, more hair, better feet, tighter udders, more milk, less milk……. but there is nothing like that feeling when you see her in the catalogue, and the dream begins and your imagination blooms. Can I get her bought? What will she cost? Yes, I think that’s the one that I need. Yes, we at Lone Stone Farms know the feeling and we trust that as you go through this year’s offering you will find one that sets your dreams alive.
Please come to our sale if you can. We love to host people in our sales facility. Please call Nathan or Karen if you have questions or talk to Transcon for an unbiased opinion.

Welcome to the 8th Annual Lone Stone Farms Invitational Female Sale! It’s always an honor to work with the Brown family – Lonnie, Karen, Nathan, and Alisha – and help them showcase their exceptional breeding program. This event has truly become one of the standout sales of the year, not just for the quality of cattle but for the genuine sense of community and family you’ll experience from the moment you arrive. The Browns are the kind of people who make you feel right at home, and that’s reflected in every part of this sale.
The Browns have built a breeding program that’s progressive, thoughtful, and deeply rooted in family values. Their focus on developing a strong and consistent cowherd allows them the luxury of offering their top-end females year after year. It’s a true testament to their hard work, dedication, and long-term vision that they can bring such an impressive group of heifers to the table, while still supporting and welcoming other local breeders to join them. The open-mindedness and selflessness that come with inviting these neighbors to share in the sale make it a truly collaborative and community-driven event.
Now, let’s talk cattle. This year’s offering is nothing short of exceptional. The Browns have brought forward some of their best Simmental and Red Angus bred heifers, with variety in both breeds that offers something for everyone. From donor-quality females to those perfect for building up your commercial herd, there’s no shortage of quality here. The Browns’ careful selection of herd sires and their dedication to cow families ensure that the cattle you buy are backed by consistent, proven genetics. They’ve invested in building a herd that’s designed to perform, and these heifers are a reflection of that effort.
The Brown family doesn’t stop there. They’ve invited some top-tier guest consignors to join them, adding even more depth and diversity to the sale. The Cerny family’s Simmental heifers are methodically bred and speak for themselves, while Swantewitt Simmentals bring years of experience to the sale, contributing some outstanding females. Lastly, KSL from the Peace Country, with their strong reputation and unique approach to offering both spring and fall calving females, adds a layer of buyer diversity that’s hard to find.
What I love most about this sale is the balance between high-quality cattle and the genuine warmth you’ll experience. When you attend this sale, you’re not just buying cattle – you’re becoming part of the Lone Stone family. The atmosphere is always friendly, the hospitality is second to none, and it’s clear that the people involved truly love what they do. Whether you’re here for donor females or looking to build your commercial herd, you’ll find something special in this sale.
So, on behalf of the Browns, their guest consignors, and all of us at Transcon, I invite you to join us in Westlock, Alberta, for what promises to be a day filled with great cattle, great people, and a true sense of community. The Transcon team is here to assist you in every way possible. Whether you need help with bidding online or advice on the offering, we’re just a phone call away. The 8th Annual Lone Stone Farms Invitational Female Sale is about more than just acquiring exceptional genetics – it’s about joining a family that is passionate about the cattle industry and dedicated to delivering quality year after year.
We look forward to welcoming you on sale day!

The genetics in this female are second to none. Going back maternally to a Big Sky cow that we truly love. She is deep bodied front to back and has the bone to match it. Bobbi Jo 300B is a cow that has produced every year and we’ve used a lot of different herd bulls on her. Joceline would be a great candidate to mate to a Homo Polled bull. She’s got the power!

It takes a long time to get a bull bought, a calf born and that calf to market. Here is the first female out of FSS Polled Hendrix to be offered in our female sale. Hendrix has Scottish Neff on one end of his pedigree and Soloway Adonis on the other. Both highly respected bulls from the past. We think highly of her dam, Ms Barbossa 99D, a big cherry red cow who continually gives us females, three of which are working in the herd.

A great Cashmere daughter out of a DT Big Rig daughter. A hard milking female that always brings a calf home over 700lb. It makes us think twice about letting these Cashmere daughters go as we sold his walking rights to MT Ranch of Dawson Creek, BC. Next year will be the last year we offer females from Cashmere. We’ve always said, that Cashmere has the power of a horned bull. That has not changed!

Well, we did it. Nathan and Karen snuck a black heifer out of Lonnie’s purebred herd. It’s not a very big herd so I was expecting a bigger protest. She is a result of Lonnie’s quest to breed a black purebred homo polled bull to some Fleckvieh heifers. He’s been doing it for several years now, but it’s a bit slow going. Some of us at Lone Stone have a tough culling policy for anything with a black coat. Anyway this girl is pretty darn good out of an excellent Fullblood female. She is bred to a Copperhead son from Rob and Deanne Young. The 2024 calves we have off him are stellar, and so quiet.

Welcome back to the Lone Stone Invitational female sale! We are so excited and thankful to be part of this wonderful sale group and offer some of our top bred heifers. The Brown family has been such a joy to work with over the past few years and we are very blessed to have the opportunity to contribute to this sale year after year. We are thrilled to announce a new addition to our family as well this year. Jordan and Randy had a little girl in early October to complete their Sage family.
Every year when we pick our heifers for this sale, we really focused on choosing from cow families that we love and have similar females to in our herd. This way we can hopefully predict the success of the heifers we are offering and we also love sharing some of our very best ones that are a true representation of our herd. You’ll find a variety of horned and polled females in our offering as well as we have added in 4 purebred red heifers. Our herd consists of 350 registered mother cows of which there are about 50% fullblood/ fleckvieh and 50% red and blacks. We’ve used two new homegrown heifer bulls on our fullblood heifers, both with great calving ease scores. Our reds are bred to 2 of our homozygous polled herd bulls that we used last year with excellent success on heifers and young cows. We have good confidence in all the service sires we have used.
All heifers are on a full vaccine and deworming program having received Express 5, Presponse HM, Vision 8, and their first dose of scour guard. They have also received a pour on for parasites.

Check out this beautiful, dark red, goggle eyed heifer who is smooth polled! She has all the looks and style to catch your eye as well as a nice, structurally sound build. Her dam is one of our Wolfe Fitzroy daughters whom we have been extremely impressed with for their calving ease, mother instincts, and general growth that they put back into their offspring. Lane really is an eye catcher.

Her mother is a Sully daughter and just adds in more calving ease to the pedigree. We’ve been very fortunate with this cow family as they are extremely productive for us. We purchased the matriarch from this very sale quite a few years ago from the Diamond T herd. Lollipop’s dam weaned off an 840 lb bull calf this year as a second calver with a nice low 86 lb birthweight. We are pretty excited to see what she does for us in the future.

Livvy is one of the favorite heifers in the pen. She comes from a cow family that we really love and admire for their dark red, goggle eyed coloring, nice tempers, great udders and high productivity. Her dam and grand dam are both still producing on the farm as are sisters. This is a cow family that really throws heavy on the female genetics. You have to appreciate her muscle and femininity. She’s bred to our polled Fitzroy bull, Limitless, and is really a female with a ton of potential. It was extremely difficult to convice Gerd to agree to let her leave our heifer pen but we know she’s going to go out and excel in one of yours!

Lemon is our lead off Sully heifer. Unfortunately, we lost Sully on pasture this fall so this will be our final set of bred heifers offered through the sale sired by him. We were quite saddened by this loss as he has been such a versatile bull for us. Calving ease combined with the heavy muscling and great pigmentation was what he was known for. Lemon shows a lot of these characteristics as well as the muscling she acquired from her dam’s side. She’s a very thick, yet still feminine female with loads of potential.

Lisa comes from a family of extremely solid, well put together, trouble free cows who have a lot of maternal power in our herd. They tend to throw us a lot of females and so her genetics are dispersed amongst our fullblood herd. We feel quite confident in her ability to become a very reliable, productive female, just like her dam and sisters. Polled Purebred. Non-Diluter. Leah is sired by our Maxwell bull who has lots of muscle and thickness. She carries this in her frame as well. Her dam is a really nice, solid colored, dark red cow who was the first to calve as a heifer the year prior and bred back with no trouble to have Leah in mid January last year. She has a lot of power and performance in her genetics. She is bred to our Jackpot bull who is a combination of a purebred dam and a 100% fleckvieh sire from Keato Meadows. Jackpot is homozygous polled and the calves we weaned off this fall were delightfully thick with good growth.

She also has her sire’s length of body and a frame size to support the industry that is growing towards size. The Major League daughters we calved last year were noticeably excellent when it came to calving ease and have all the qualities you look for in a new mother. On her dam’s side we have a very productive, consistent cow with excellent feet and a trouble free udder. She’s bred to out homozygous polled Tycoon bull who calved phenomenally on heifers last year and the calves weaned off great this fall. Exposed to Swantewitt Tycoon 34K March 21- May 26.

This deep red lady is one of Jordan and Justine’s heifers. We really love her coloring as well as her sweet disposition. Her dam did a great job on her as a first calver and this fall she weaned off an equally impressive, 870 lb bull calf! This will be the third year we have calved Gibraltar daughters in our herd and we really admire their calving ease, maternal instincts, excellent udders, and overall productivity. They also really keep that amazing coloring going into the next generation. Gibraltar’s dam, 91A, is still producing in our herd today as are a few of his sisters.

Polled Purebred. Non Dilutor.
Here’s a heifer from one of our newer bulls bought from Forden Fairview Farms. Rattler has proven to be quite moderate calving and trouble free as well as to have nice dispositions in his offspring. He himself is very easy to work with and Liberia is no different. We really appreciate the thickness in this heifer. Her dam is a solid red female who shares many of her features. She is structurally sound and still calving each year consistently and we think that Liberia will go on to be a very reliable, easy to handle, productive female.

Polled Full Fleckvieh Lillian is shaping up to be an exciting polled female with such a beautiful presence. From front to back its hard to fault her, sleek fronted and smooth made she wisps into a full middle. She is perfected footed, and her udder development is exceptional. Her Keets Simmental dam is one we are proud to own with a no miss track record, we liked her grand dam so much when touring Brett Keets herd, we also purchased a maternal sister and let me tell you these cows are stunning. We sold a maternal sister through this very sale to Gem Simmentals and Johnny always raves about the great job she has done for him. The Nitro females are second to none when it comes to the productive polled department, these females are the kind you want to build a herd around. Homo polled test pending.

We are starting to really see the potential in the “Cash” offspring and realize what an asset he is going to be within our program and the industry. The cow family behind this exciting young female is stacked, the Duke females never miss and keep producing us docile good uddered high performing offspring time and time again. The kind of female we hate to part with as we know she will produce top quality sons and daughter with all the qualities that we love out of these powerful fullblood cattle. Homo polled test pending.

KSL MISS SILVER SAMMY 145G RJRS MISS LAREDO 450P
Polled Full Fleckvieh
Lady Luxx is backed by without a doubt one of the most prominent cow families we have at KSL. 37L’s dam is a direct daughter of the legendary RJRS 450P cow or as we called her “Sammy”, who lived out her 20-year long life at KSL. Sammy was a staple in creating many of our foundation females that have produced top quality sons and daughters for ourselves and other breeders. We have sold two other females from this cow family, both being high sellers to Jerry and Nicole Repka of JNR Farms. Jerry’s eye for the 450P cow family is exceptional cause he too knows the worth in this lineage. A true fleckvieh breeding piece that will check all the boxes. Lady Luxx will produce powerful offspring with longevity, stunning udder quality and eye appeal in a smooth polled package.

Horned Full Fleckvieh
Thickness and muscle with a deep body paired with an explosive width and topline, 74L is built like an old square body truck and I mean that in an absolute good way. She blends all the things we love about fleckvieh cattle while maintaining a feminine maternal look. The Cash x Sonic cross is one of thickness and meat and potatoes where you can’t help but think this lady will produce pounds. The udder she is starting to develop is worth mentioning because much like her dam’s it will be perfection. Lady’s sister sold through the sale in 2022 to Justina Hiebert. The Reputation calf in this females belly will for sure be an exciting one and make the investment in this female a wise one.

The lone Ferrous daughter in the offering, Lovebug offers an ideal mix of calving ease and sleek design. We have come to appreciate these Ferrous females for their ability to control birth weight and really in corporate calving ease into their offspring. We have been breeding the ferrous females to a variety of powerful horned genetics and the outcome has been excellent. They are hard working amazing uddered females who can really pack a punch. Don’t over look 76L as her pen mates are bigger in stature she will certainly make up for it come weaning time when she has a calf the same size or bigger than herself. Bred to our exciting new calving ease bull from Anchor D, the sports car in her bully has huge potential! Homo polled test pending.

Lulu is a dark cherry red Export daughter with an eye-catching blaze face. This smooth fronted female is sound on the move, good footed with such a presence about her. She carries such body and shape in her rear 2/3’s, her big hip and deep middle is loose made and just screams easy keeping. The Export females are dark red in colour with amazing hair coats. Lulu’s Westcott dam is a powerhouse female with a bright future, and we see 15L following right in her footsteps.

The only solid red female in our offering, Lavender is one big momma. Her Westcott dam is one of the easiest keeping females we own. She is big bodied and STOUT, her natural thickness is something we wish we could breed into all our reds. 89L has an awesome temperament and calm demeanor that is such a treat to handle. A powerhouse red female with a very quick ROI with the highly marketable Export calf on board, Lavender with lay down and calve out a very appealing bull or heifer that will grow like a weed with style and presence.

Lara is a sharp looking red female with that eye catching money stripe we all love. Her Mafia dam is a picture-perfect blaze face female as well. The Jolt x Mafia pairing works so well as we have seen it replicated multiple times with great success. Consistency within males and females it cranks out a profitable offspring that just works. We love seeing a splash of fleckvieh in these red females allowing an outcross pedigree and a kick of performance and style. Breed this female red, black or back fullblood she is going to produce a calf that’s top of the pen no doubt.

If you’re looking for one to produce big time herd bulls and daughters to top the keeper pen Lyla is the heifer to keep an eye on. Her maternal sister sold through this very sale to Stout Brothers and the Stout boys are always blown away with what she can wean off. The Jolt offspring are powerful and productive and 28L is a great example of that. Muscle expression, shape and dimension as well as early maturity allows these Jolts females to really shine at a young age. The foot and udder quality are also note worthy on these females, we look forward to watching them mature in to powerful purebred females. Paired with Export the calf this heifer has on board should be dark cherry red with loads of potential.
