ACCOMMODATIONS There are plenty of hotels in the surrounding cities of Weyburn (1 hour from the ranch) Regina (50 minutes) or Moose Jaw (just over an hour).

DELIVERY AND BOARD All bulls after the sale will remain at the breeders ranch until breeding soundness evaluations are completed sometime in March. Bulls have no cost to the new owner until April 1, 2017, when there will be a charge of $5/hd/day. We will do our best to ensure the bulls are kept in a safe and happy environment after sale day but we do recommend that you insure your new purchase for full purchase price. Once again we will deliver all the bulls to the owners doorstep or at very least as close to it as possible. Please try to work with us on this as we try to put trips together that are both efficient and time sensitive.

All cattle sell under the standard terms and conditions of the Canadian Gelbvieh Association. Any announcements sale day will take precedence over information printed in this catalog. BULLS All bulls will have a pre sale vet inspection followed by a full breeding soundness evaluation prior to delivery. Sale day weights will be posted on sale day. All the sale bulls will have homo polled results by sale time as well. Ultrasound data will be available on all the Twisted T bulls and the feature bulls for Thackeray Gelbvieh. HEIFERS There will be on offer 25 high quality commercial black and red Gelbvieh influenced females available again this year. All the heifers will have been ultrasounded open and breeding ready. Please bring your trailer to the sale if you are planning on purchasing some solid breeding stock or please make arrangements with the consignors to get them to you. Welcome. Once again that time of year has come and myself, Amber, Isely and Ivy are honoured to have the opportunity to showcase the best of what we have raised in the past year. We have added an extremely good friend and breeder to the sale this year. We are so excited and honoured to have the Thackeray Gelbvieh crew as part of the sale and look forward to what the future will bring with this partnership. As we look back we at 2016 it has been one of great excitement as well as some pauses. With a large part of the province receiving above average moisture, crops and grass were bountiful although it sure made it interesting trying to get feed off and crops into the bin. Calf prices are rallying through the close of 2016 and into the start of 2017. As the research shows, upgrading your bull battery never has a down turn though. The positive impact the right bull for your program can have will not make just “cents” it will return a lot of dollars! The bulls on offer this year are the strongest set to date from top to bottom! We bring you a group of bulls backed by a set of cows we are extremely proud of! The sires behind these bulls are not mainstream bulls and will work to outcross the vast majority of programs in the countryside. Once again, EV Mighty Dandy will lead the way but we are pleased to welcome three new herd bulls and their calves to the sale for the first time from Twisted T Armadeous 2A, JCGR Gun Fighter 150B and DVE Skaggs 12B. Also, this is the last set of calves out of the now deceased FLAD Pitbull 47Y. All the bulls have been selected with the rancher in mind. They are sound, free moving, hairy and have lots of capacity.
